What Beatmap "user rating" actually comes from?

When you go to Beatmap page you can see how much red and green that Beatmap got. In UNDEAD CORPORATION - Yoru Naku Usagi wa Yume o Miru case as example it have 46 and 1935.

After you have passed some beatmap you can give that beatmap rating from 1 to 10 stars. You can't give it "good" or "bad". So where does this red and green come from? I've been wondering this. Could someone please explain this to me?

Yup, there's the votes, i don't know why "good(green)" and "bad(red)"

More than 5 stars is good, less than that is bad. Just like an exam in schools.

Oh. Interesting. Why we have stars instead of thumbs up and down as example if it does excatly same thing? Or can beatmapper see his average user rating from somewhere?

There used to be star rating inside osu! but now it's removed
