randomly gaining ranks

When I started playing today I was rank 8.1k, after submitting some scores and gaining 1pp it was 8.0k, which was a little odd. I then started playing multi without gaining any pp and I was 7.9k by the time I logged out. Anyone else having the same thing happen?

Possibly another banwave. last time it happened i went from 9.9k to 9.6k

tag map PP got removed due to touchscreen abuse so a lot of people dropped ranks aka you surpassed them

I went from 14.5 to 14.1. Neat.
