hi , passed by because Sana's song.. I recognized unrankable issue while playing

at Hard 01:00:631 (1,3) - this pattern were not acceptable because the reverse point of (3) is covered by the hitburst of (1)

This is mainly about Zero's diff after playing extra indefinitely i had to check out Zero's diff again!

Zero's Insane:

- 02:22:263 (7,8,9) - I like the idea but I am worried that people with snaking sliders might hate you for this^^
- 01:28:894 (3) - sounds interesting but might as well feel strange for others. doesn't follow the music. her voice has a note on 01:29:052 and 01:29:368. i cant hear anything on slider end and star. but maybe my current sound system won't let me. i might have to try with headphones later
- 00:51:789 (1,2) - strange feel. not sure about this. music doesnt suggest anything like that imho. please reconsider
- 00:13:578 (1,2) - is this made a 2 circle combo deliberately? unlike all the others in this diff this doesn't feel right.

Some things on hard as well:

- 00:16:105 (5,6,1) - as in zero'S diff this slider might cause issues with snaking slider option
- There are some spots I personally wouldn't throw into this particular star rating or at least they don't correlate with the rest of the map like some 1/4 slider jumps 02:38:526 (3,4), 01:36:631 (1,2) (second example is particularly heavy in comparison) or nasty 1/2 jump combinations like 02:43:421 (2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4,5,6,1). especially considering 190bpm is fairly high. i think this is also the reason why best friends is so overweighted in terms of pp; like 95% of the map is super relaxing to play and you basically get rewarded only for 3 short progressively distance growing jumps patterns. I like the diff a lot though. It fits well with your extra mapping style. I just can see someone crying exactly about this later on.

@LucaSA4 : it's fine as there are no special limitations for spinners in Insane diffs as long as Auto can get 1000 on it

@pkhg : a sudden change of flow to a different direction is also a way of emphasizing downbeats; stop on piano cause can't use long streams on easier Insane diff

00:01:184 (2,2,2,4) - All of these 1/4 sliders end on something stronger than the head, and you're making the player hit blue tick sliders, two circles would be better for rhythm intuition and polarity I think it's bad to put streams at the very beginning when players haven't got used to the song's rhythm and bpm yet, they hurt ACC. also, replacing with circles would make them look bad
00:05:526 (2,3,4) - aaa these all end on white ticks, and even one on a downbeat, use triples here so those are clickable. If you're somehow worried about density, you shouldn't be with a light insane, and it's also a bit strange since the first 10 seconds of the light insane is more dense than this difficulty. There are so many prominent percussion beats that you ignored to focus on the piano, but plenty of those beats could've been used to accent each other. coherent triples on high BPM are pretty hard to play and I don't want use it in the easier Insane, also I don't want to to such intense at the start because I'll have to make it even harder for kiais and interlude part and that's no fun considering the spread
00:16:263 (5,1) - Spacing here should be slightly larger than the rest of 00:15:631 (1,2,3,4,5), since 00:16:421 (1) is slightly stronger. Also a flow change would be nice from 5 -> 1, they should stand out in some way for that reason. I take them as a coherent rhythm phrase of pianos and I think it's good to keep consistent spacing in this phrase just making it flow smooth and natural
00:21:315 (5,1) - Sort of the same thing in my last point, also inconsistent with the jump in 00:20:052 (4,1) when the flow is smooth, the spacing can be bigger, on the other hand it could better be smaller when the flow twists. they are both the ways to emphasize something
00:22:421 (2,3,1) - Would unstack 2 and 3 from 1, the vocals from 2 and 3 are the same but 1 is more intense + has a strong piano note, could emphasize it better stacking is already a way of emphasizing

They're much more apparent to the ear and this screws up the player's rhythm a bit. this is the best part in my diff and I'll never change it as I've done it in a pretty consistent and reasonable way. you will get to know how precious it is to arrange rhythms for the same song in different ways, when you've seen more and more maps in which everyone makes the rhythm the same way
00:31:421 (1) - ^, well I'll stop pointing these out since you did this quite a bit actually, up to you it's just like you can play the drums in the Extra then why can't I play the guitar in my Insane? why should all these instruments exist?
00:33:315 (3,4,5) - Weird how spacing from 4 -> 5 randomly decreases despite the vocals on them, and 3 -> 4 is larger and spacing 5 small spacing because not a strong beat, others are strong drums/guitars
00:38:842 (7,8,1) - Linear flow like this won't emphasize 00:39:157 (1) effectively. I'd move 00:39:000 (8) down to create a triangle + flow change for accentuation. good point, changed.
00:41:526 - If you mapped this out you could create a jump to emphasize 00:41:684 (1), instead of just using a boring 1/1 gap that emphasizes nothing just no. because I hate following vocal, especially when it makes a part unfittingly intense when it should actually be a slow bridge part. I do have used different spacing to show the difference between the stronge and the &weaker pianos

01:33:473 (1,2,3,4) - Doesn't emphasize anything, you could either group the 4 circles into pairs since there are vocals on 01:33:473 and 01:33:789 or just use 2 1/2 sliders four different piano key, no reason to change. I already used opposite direction flow to show their difference
01:44:052 (3,4,5,6) - Same thing as in 01:00:631 (1,2,3,4)

@Troponoop : damn sorry I lost my mod reply. pay more attention to how the map plays and looks like instead of the number of spacing. I fixed 01:47:052 (7,8,1) - and 03:14:210 (3,4,1) - as they are more reasonable and suitable for even spacing

@imaikiseta : just saying, I HATE MAPPING TO VOCAL. try to pay more attention to the instruments instead of the vocal and you'll get the point of my 'weird rhythms'.

Not important, but if you right click the .mp3 file and go to properties, you can fill in the title and artist.

There are mini kiai sections at 02:40:421 (4) – in Joey's difficulties and the normal. I actually don't know what they are there for (explain please?), but whatever the reason, shouldn't this be consistent throughout the mapset?

00:12:315 (2) – Why is there no circle here when there is one at 00:13:578 (3) - ? This made it feel like the note at 00:13:578 (3) - was too fast.

00:17:684 (1,1) – There isn't enough time between spinner and slider. One solution is to make the spinner a slider instead, probably a zig-zag one to go with the piano notes.

The drum hitsounds feel kind of loud and overwhelming. Try lowering the volume of these effects.

00:50:526 (1) – Why do you want to make this a clickable note? Just because it's on a big white tick doesn't mean it's a strong note. The music doesn't support this, so I'd rather see you continue following the piano and guitar by making 00:50:210 (3) – a ½ slider.

01:36:947 (2) – The ¼ piano notes here breaks up the similar feeling between this and 01:35:684 (2) - , so I don't quite like repeating the flow here. If you like the repetitive nature of the flow, I'll throw out a triangular progression idea kind of like http://puu.sh/ixOuG/3a2327c8e8.jpg . In the same vein, you can go to 00:31:578 (1,2,3,4) – and switch the (1) slider and the stack, since the 1 slider does a better job of bringing the pitch up at 00:32:210 (2,4) - .

02:41:684 (1) – This note confuses me since you decide to transition away from the piano and towards the beat, but I can't see why here and why in this way. I'd really prefer to continue to follow the piano for this combo with a rhythm like this: http://puu.sh/iG0yR/4af27fa38d.jpg (Do note, the piano gets syncopated here, meaning that instead of starting on the big white tick, it starts one red tick earlier. So if you're worried about the “ending a slider on a white tick” rule, you can make an exception in this case since the rhythm of the piano dictates that the big white tick is actually at 02:41:684 - . In fact because of this syncopation, I think the current rhythm you have breaks this rule, which is why I'm making this comment)

I feel like this map could have been paced a little better since it feels mostly constant in energy from beginning to end, but it's a light insane, so it's probably not a big deal.

00:02:526 (1) – I would be careful with this slider. I can read it and have no problem, but some people might be confused about the sharp curve since the outline isn't showing.

00:08:842 (1) – It felt like there was something missing in the hitsounds in this section; it felt really weak. Maybe playing with the volume will help, but I think if a third hitsound was introduced to emphasize the guitar, then it will make it stronger.

01:11:684 (4,2) – Not the best overlap. While I would still let this pass, see if you can move 01:12:000 (1) - to the right to give you some room.

01:44:842 (1,4) – Not the best overlap. Either do more or none at all. Stacking 01:44:842 (1,1) – isn't important at all since the earlier has faded well in time, so don't let this constrain you.

02:02:526 (1) – If the SV was bigger you could get away with this, but with how small it is it looks odd.

00:49:421 (3,4) – and 00:49:894 (6,7) - The distance in these jumps should not only be consistent with each other, I think they ought to be bigger. The reverse slider slows down the pattern a lot that having big jumps here brings out the heavy piano notes.

00:54:315 (1) – and 02:02:526 (1) - This is just a personal gripe of mine that I see in most osu maps, but the kiai section here has the same level of excitement as the section starting at 00:29:052 (1) - . This problem is deepened when the build up to the chorus like at 01:54:947 (1) – is stronger than the chorus itself. For pacing reasons, I like to try make the strong choruses feel more intense in difficulty, but obviously you'd have to change so much that I would not recommend going for this. There are some subtle instances of a more intense difficulty here, but I like to be beaten over the head with the pacing curve. The kiai at 03:08:210 (1) – should be less energetic than 02:35:368 (1) – like you have, but it should be closer in energy to the 02:35:368 (1) - section instead of being closer in energy to the section at 01:37:263 (1) - . /rant

01:35:684 (2) – I do not like stacking this here, try 440, 80 instead. 01:34:736 (1) – this reverse slider establishes a zig-zag flow for the low notes, so when when Sana goes to the high note at 01:35:368 - , it feels really different from when she started, so it calls for a different flow at (2) to reflect that we've shifted to high notes.

02:25:105 (7) – Consider making the distance into this 2.33x to match the dist at 02:24:631 (4,5) - .

02:37:105 (3) – This slows down the section too much. Try having this be a ½ slider and a circle instead. Doing so then doesn't give you enough set up time to have such sharp flow into and out of 02:38:210 (2) - , so doing this change may need you to change the position of 2. (which I'm not a personal fan of the stack here anyway, but just an opinion)

02:49:894 (1) – I know you're trying to indicate the ¾ notes approaching by stacking these, but you lose a lot of steam by having the player stay still. Try having the DS into this be 1.7, and if so you may have to redesign the triangle in this combo.

03:04:578 (1) – The stream here makes this too intense. Try using jumps starting at 03:05:052 (7) - with two ½ sliders or four ¼ sliders.
