I stopped playing probably around half a year ago. I think I had ~33 million skill points at the time I quit and got to finish AWU 5 before my sub expired.
I even got kicked from Goonwaffe for inactivity.
Least I can reapply when I feel like it because I bought a plex in VFK before I left.

Now high-sec corporations can decide whether or not to make intra-corp killing legal or not, and if it's set to illegal you can get concorded for awoxing. Completely takes the fun out of having an alt especially dedicated to awoxing like I did. Of course there's probably some corps that won't even know this exists even though there's literally no reason to have it set to legal.

So apparently my last login date was 15 July 2014 which was ~7 months ago.

I'm training for a railgu and a loki now, but I only have medium hybrids 3 right now.

Isn't the damnation really designed to provide boosts to fleets and be tanky enough to actually be in the fleet and not die like paper unlike offgrid boosters? What do you use it for?

And now begins the training of Medium hybrids V and Minmatar cruiser V. They're x5 skills I believe so that's like 36-40 days.
What controls? All you do is right click and issue commands unless you're flying a frigate or something and need to spiral.Conor wrote:

The pod jumping change hurt. Now I'd have to fit a travelceptor to get to hi-sec when I have business there.
I'm ready to jump back into EVE Online this week with my new computer and 12 billion ISK. I'm hoping to get into a corperation where i can do some contract hauls or be the corp-accountant so i can make money for corp pvp fittings. I really love being on the business side of EVE it's a lot of fun!

Nothing wrong with that. I have friends who just run nulsec scan operations and wormhole exploration yet i have no idea how anyone could find fun in getting stranded in a wormhole.

I think there were a number of factors. His only clone was 100+ jumps from his station, he had a nice ship with really awesome fittings and no insurance and he was just the exploring type of person. He never did tell me what he came across but it was a nice adventure. I got to watch him stream it and his stream goal was to find another wormhole out of deepspace. Tfw your home system isn't the one you can pod yourself too. Also, IIRc a roundtrip circle across the outside of nullsec is a 200 jump journey, so 100 seems like a stretch.

I hate the new pod jumping changes to where you can only change your home system once a year. I used to LIKE being able to teleport to offices around the galaxy to get to places. Now I have to go to YA0, buy some 20-30m fucking travel-fit interceptor, and then go gate to gate for like 20 minutes just to get IN to high-sec.
So glad I trained for interceptors. That 11.3 AU/S warp speed is noice.

When i start back hauling i'm going to be traveling around a lot of low-sec/nul-sec so that will be fun.

Sometimes I like looking at Jita local and seeing all the scams. There's only a very few I've had to pause and think "How is this a scam?" Then a minute later I find out how.
Yeah i've been involved in a few scams. As scumbagish as it is, it's part of the game and you have to use it to get ahead of other players sometimes. In no way am i that type of person outside of the game but in the game i like being the corporate tycoon who scams randoms because that form of gameplay is allowed and encouraged!
One day I went out and tested my catalyst dps on a Hulk. The guy then messaged me after I failed saying he was looking for a pvp corp. Since I'm in Goonwaffe and paying money for joining is a scam that everyone should know, I tell the guy to give me his API information and we will require a 50m (Not 500m since I lowball too much) processing fee to get in. I only said 50m because he didn't have much liquid ISK but oh no, he transferred it from another character so I should've gotten more than that.
In the meantime while he did that, my ganking friend and I invited him to come gank with us. We told him to get in his manticore (Not catalyst), to help us gank. We found a tanked Mackinaw and failed to gank it because HE WAS USING LIGHT MISSILES WITH T1 AMMO IN HIS FUCKING MANTICORE. WHAT THE FUCK.
Needless to say he didn't get into Goonwaffe.
In the meantime while he did that, my ganking friend and I invited him to come gank with us. We told him to get in his manticore (Not catalyst), to help us gank. This is my first letter of Marque and Reprisal, so it's not going to be very good. But anyways...
So, I was just cruising around some 0.5 systems in Caldari space while waiting for Letifer to return when I happened to notice a Hulk mining in one of them. Of course, even with 600 dps I know I couldn't actually get the Hulk, but I decided to test what I could do against one anyway just to know for later ganks. I failed the Hulk gank, and not a few minutes later the guy convos me asking if his alt can join Goonwaffe because he's "looking for a pvp corp."
I went through his api on Goonfleet.net and noticed that he didn't actually have much isk on him, so I thought the 500m mark was going to be impossible to get, so I lowballed for 100m. It turns out, through using jacknife, that he keeps most of his money in his corp account and not on his characters. There's also the fact that it only said his main had 60m worth of items at a glance, but if I select the V2 thing it shows him as having a 980m Tengu in hold. From this, I decide to see if I can't tell him about ~great ratting and mining opportunities in the great system of JU-~
I took a screenshot of the "Not another Jump Freighter service" and hastily edited its HTML to say "contract to character Daemon Kaiera"
So I give him the link to Goonfleet, get a deposit from him, and then take his alt to come suicide gank with us but not before telling him to put into his application, "Sponser Code: J4GPBLRD". He's using his Manticore, and because his manticore HAS 1 BCU AND IS USING LIGHT MISSILES WITH NOT EVEN FACTION AMMO, it cost us the tanked Mackinaw gank. If he asks why his application will be rejected, I'm going to tell him that a director contacted me and said that the security deposit for this time, because of deployment in Curse, was actually 250m and not 100m.
The beautiful part was when he said, I bolded it, that some people never learn in this game. :smugdog: If someone wants to play the role of Mr.Director who accosted me, then shoot me an eve mail.
