My second beatmap. Keep in mind that this is only the cut of the song that appears in the Naruto Shippuden intro, not the entire song. If you guys like this one, I might get around to working on the full song.

Enjoy, and please leave feedback.

EDIT: Version 2.0 is here!

I think the timing for this one isn't accurate. I have been fiddling with it and I found that 103,91 BMP and 9.650 for offset can be better. But using that will screw almost all the beatmap! :-/

I think you should see if the BPM is really off and try to fix it, then try to adjust the notes to it ("resnap all notes" can come in handy).

You can also try to make smaller combo notes, there is a 23 one at the end of the song.

I love the video a lot, it synchs with the music and it's fast paced. Pretty good choice (I know it's directly from the anime, but I like it XD ).

Timing is way off on this. Thanks for putting the effort in, at least. I'm glad to see that people have the idea to use video openings like this. =D

Also, just so you know, I have the timing down perfect for the full version, and I'm about 80% done right now. Of course, I'm doing 2 versions, though, since not everyone can handle "insane" mode songs. =o

@hitoshirenu - maybe you could share the timing with Darushi since you have more experience and the settings you have are probably correct ;). Let's try and keep up the helpful attitude here!

I may have the timing, yes, but that's for the long version, not this one. If I were to do the timing for this one, it would be way too hard for me to not just remake the whole thing. I don't won't to push Darushi out of the spotlight. =o

You sure are one addicted beatmapper :P

Doubling it from what you had, Extor, and using 207.82 for the BPM fits his beats more closely, and an offset of 5,113 still catches those first few beats. You can try those if you want, Darushi. :)

Thanks guys, I'll mess around with the values and try to have the notes more in synch.

And hitoshirenu, good thing you told me or I would have started on the long version already.

Welcome! And sorry if I sound a bit too "critical." I'm not here to be nice, I'm here to be right. XD

Also, I have a request for you: More anime OP/ED video beatmaps! If possible, I think it'd be nice if you went back to "Fighting Dreamers" and did a beatmap for it, as I love that song tons. =D

I second that! XD

Oh, but I'm still waiting for this one, don't forget it! =P

I don't want to sound a bit harsh, but this is what you should change.

Right now, thanks to the high BPM is like you are doing the song at 1/8 divisor, and that's not a nice thing, because you have a correct BPM but the separtations between the beats makes it hard to guess where a note should be.

My advice, is to go back to 103.91 BPM and change the slider velocity to 2,20. This way, all your sliders will go at the same speed but the placement of the notes can be easier.

After you do this, use a 1/4 divisor and resnap all the notes. Then, fiddle with the changes and move the notes that fell off into their right positions. Because if you keep it with that 200+ BPM you will never get a correct timing.

Cya!

It's fine. I'll make another version.

The only problem is that I made the latest version of this some time ago and have been working on another song. I haven't forgotten about this one, though. I'll definitely mess around with it.
