The title says it all

Happens a lot times that i type the pass of the room press enter and wait there with nothing happening

but what happens if it's a space password? like join <space> me?

I don't really understand what you mean. If the password has a space it has nothing to do with you using the "enter" or the "join" button :/

Probably it is intended to be like this, just to make sure you typed the correct password I suppose...
