Video file format should only either be flv or avi, not mpg, mp4, etc. i tried downloading the no video option, it gave me the video too, so you better change the format of the vid lol, it's unrankable, and i'll just mod Believe, because that's what I'm good at, I believe. ha ;)

Overall, I think this needs a little bit more work. I found the hitsounds very faint. There should be a constant normal-hitnormal and normal-hitclap hitsound through out most of the map, and of course, with custom hitsounds....

The placements could be done tidier too imo :3

Hey there, heres my list of modifications:
Easy:
No problems regarding this map that have not been covered already

Normal:
00:56:637 - I halved the length of this slider to match the lyrics more accurately. Making it start halfway of its original length. It also gives a little more reaction time after the spinner.
01:25:654 - Personally I don't particularly like the slider placed here. Although its still in rhythm it still kinda puts me off, but theres no harm in keeping it.

Hard:
00:31:801 - This slider has a unique shape, whilst most of the other sliders surrounding it are all straight or slightly bent. I would make the shape more original for consistency ( like a long bend or line).

Believe:
01:12:867 - This slider repeat is a little unnecessary

I tried not to repeat what other people are already saying, but overall the placement and structure is smooth and relatively easy to play. I've noticed that the start of your combos start with a finish hitsound, but it is very faint. I can hardly differentiate it from the claps. You should work on those and choose a different hitsound or turn up hitsound volume.

After playing around with the hitsounds, i changed all of the time points to use the default soft hit sounds. The ring from the finish sound isnt bad and you can hear the whistles and claps pretty well. Give it a try, and see if you like it.

General


  1. Please, make combo colors consistent. You use similar colors, but never the same, each diff is different while there is no real need for the inconsistency. Just replace them in .osu file with this:
    Combo1 : 17,136,255
    Combo2 : 255,136,196
    Combo3 : 255,113,113
    Combo4 : 255,94,255
  2. Background might be a bit better, current resolution is 4:3 and that is not really the best support for widescreen users. It's just detail, but you might cut for examplethis to 1366x768 so it supports widescreen better and so it's higher quality.
  3. Both website and blu-ray proves the song title is wrong. It is not supposed to be Believe X Believe (TV Ver.) but Believe×Believe. Firstly, (TV Ver.) has nothing to do there and there are NO spaces + the X is not X, but a cross (×). Thus the normal title is Believe×Believe and because we have no romanisation for the cross, use BelievexBelieve as a romanised title. Here are two proofs of it being wrong, firstly their website and then the screenshots bellow. Obviously, they might decide to change the title with release of soundtrack, if they feel like it needs to have some difference, but till it is officially released, you are not allowed to alter the title.
  4. A detail, but Japanese names should not use spaces in original language. You might check website above to see all Japanese names are without spaces.
  5. Romanised artist must be Yamamoto Nozomi as there is ranking critera which tells you to use 'surname firstname' form.
  6. Current video is not really best. Quality is not messy or something, but it is just encoded with no CPU optimization, thus the game might lag in some places. You can use this to make almost everyone able to play with video without big loads, just the functions which have no usage in the video are disabled, that's all what changes at all. You might get the video here. Also don't forget the file size limit was increased, so if you wanted, I might even provide higher quality.
  7. Applies to all diffs. You should try to use lower base volume, for example 60 or 65 instead (previously it was 75%) and change it back to 75% when the music really becomes louder, so the new inherited timing point would be on 00:23:932. That is just to avoid the map having same volume in parts which have significantly higher volume.
  8. You might want to add these tags: 斎藤悠弥 (Composition & Arrange), N@oki (Arrange) and also ユリエ=シグトゥーナ as a character who 'sings' the song.

Easy


  1. 00:29:834 (3,4,1) - You changed spacing from 1.0x to 0.9x and thus broke consistency which easy is required to have.
  2. 00:18:031 (1) - Same as above
  3. 00:21:965 (1) - 1.2x is certainly really high and again, it is same issue as above.
  4. 00:27:867 (1,2,3,4) - Look how big difference there is. Same speed, but 00:29:588 - is 0.8x, while 00:28:604 - is 1.3x, you are actually adding jumps into an easy difficulty.
  5. 00:57:375 - 01:28:850 - Firstly, the distance snap should really not be inconsistent on easy, check the inconsistencies and fix them. Secondly, it is a kiai and has mostly 0.9x spacing, while rest of map had around 1.0x. That just lacks some sensibility. If it was higher, then it would make sense, however it is easy, where should not be these changes, so you should just make it 1.0x as rest of a map.
  6. 00:23:932 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - Hitsounds are always 1/1 note later. There's drum of similar sound to hitsound on 00:24:424, but the clap is on 00:24:916. However you swap it to correct on 00:31:801, so you should fix these 9 seconds, that would not hurt much.

Normal


  1. Please, remove the overused claps from start and start hitsounding them on 00:23:932. There are no notes which are really worth emphasizing with this kind of hitsound, so it only sounds loud and out of place.

Believe


  1. 00:10:162 (1) - Remove the whistle and put it on the slider start. Currently it is also on a body, you forgot to click the circle, or didn't click it properly. If it is on body, it gives the slider weird noise in a background, which is not really fitting the song.
  2. 00:31:801 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2) - While no change was in music, instead of putting clap each 2nd 1/1 note, you used it on every 1/1 note. Before you put it just on a real clap in music, but in this part you are really overusing it. It's most likely out of place.
  3. 00:57:375 - Kiai's claps are also a bit out of place. You use them on some places when they are, but you miss many of them. Try to go through this kiai and fill the missing ones.

Conclusion: Rankable

Basically, the map has quite no-problem flow, shapes and other structure stuff. Spread is also nice, but however something is wrong there and that is difficulty settings. Firstly I think easy and normal could be a little bit less, but that's not the point, you don't have to make the easiest easy and the easiest normal, this is just little harder, but that doesn't matter that much. Anyway, difference between easy, normal and hard in settings are all around 1.3 - 2.3, what's pretty fine gap, on the other hand, difference between hard and believe diff is 0.7 - 1.0. That's almost no settings difference and should be higher, definitely. You cannot really feel anything, while the map itself is quite harder than hard, thus you should decrease hard's settings by a bit and increase believe's settings a bit too and it shall be okay.

For easy, you should care about the conistency a lot, because there were like 0.6 spacing differences and that's nothing what should pass through qualification.
Also, you should be more careful about hitsounds, many things were hitsounded different on each diff, you should just make it a bit more consistent and try to not miss something, but everyone can do such a mistake.

Overally, I think it is nice attempt for a ranked and you can make it if you polish the map a bit. Good luck and have my star when I can give :)

  1. 00:29:834 (3,4,1) - You changed spacing from 1.0x to 0.9x and thus broke consistency which easy is required to have.
  2. 00:18:031 (1) - Same as above
  3. 00:21:965 (1) - 1.2x is certainly really high and again, it is same issue as above.
  4. 00:27:867 (1,2,3,4) - Look how big difference there is. Same speed, but 00:29:588 - is 0.8x, while 00:28:604 - is 1.3x, you are actually adding jumps into an easy difficulty.
  5. 00:57:375 - 01:28:850 - Firstly, the distance snap should really not be inconsistent on easy, check the inconsistencies and fix them. Secondly, it is a kiai and has mostly 0.9x spacing, while rest of map had around 1.0x. That just lacks some sensibility. If it was higher, then it would make sense, however it is easy, where should not be these changes, so you should just make it 1.0x as rest of a map.
  6. 00:23:932 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - Hitsounds are always 1/1 note later. There's drum of similar sound to hitsound on 00:24:424, but the clap is on 00:24:916. However you swap it to correct on 00:31:801, so you should fix these 9 seconds, that would not hurt much. I will remap this diff

  1. Please, remove the overused claps from start and start hitsounding them on 00:23:932. There are no notes which are really worth emphasizing with this kind of hitsound, so it only sounds loud and out of place. Fixed

Believe


  1. 00:10:162 (1) - Remove the whistle and put it on the slider start. Currently it is also on a body, you forgot to click the circle, or didn't click it properly. If it is on body, it gives the slider weird noise in a background, which is not really fitting the song. Fixed
  2. 00:31:801 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2) - While no change was in music, instead of putting clap each 2nd 1/1 note, you used it on every 1/1 note. Before you put it just on a real clap in music, but in this part you are really overusing it. It's most likely out of place. I don't understood
  3. 00:57:375 - Kiai's claps are also a bit out of place. You use them on some places when they are, but you miss many of them. Try to go through this kiai and fill the missing ones. I don't understood

Conclusion: Rankable

Basically, the map has quite no-problem flow, shapes and other structure stuff. Spread is also nice, but however something is wrong there and that is difficulty settings. Firstly I think easy and normal could be a little bit less, but that's not the point, you don't have to make the easiest easy and the easiest normal, this is just little harder, but that doesn't matter that much. Anyway, difference between easy, normal and hard in settings are all around 1.3 - 2.3, what's pretty fine gap, on the other hand, difference between hard and believe diff is 0.7 - 1.0. That's almost no settings difference and should be higher, definitely. You cannot really feel anything, while the map itself is quite harder than hard, thus you should decrease hard's settings by a bit and increase believe's settings a bit too and it shall be okay.

For easy, you should care about the conistency a lot, because there were like 0.6 spacing differences and that's nothing what should pass through qualification.
Also, you should be more careful about hitsounds, many things were hitsounded different on each diff, you should just make it a bit more consistent and try to not miss something, but everyone can do such a mistake.

Overally, I think it is nice attempt for a ranked and you can make it if you polish the map a bit. Good luck and have my star when I can give :)
