EMAIL PASSWORD SCAM
The University of Guelph community has recently been victim to a series of phishing scams in which an individual posing as CCS support has requested email user ids and passwords. [sidenote: CCS is the group responsible for all the technology-related stuff eg email]
CCS WILL NEVER ASK YOU TO PROVIDE YOUR USER ID AND PASSWORD BY EMAIL.
The result of this phishing scam is that a number of University of Guelph email accounts have been compromised and a large volume of SPAM has been sent from these compromised accounts.

something you should learn in grade school if you ask me.
I'd like to know how big this "a number of email accounts" number is though.
