HEY GUYS HARUHI-INTRO

That one wasn't hard work but quite some time. I'd appreciate input on it and really recommend that you play it. It's quite some fun.

Video is included, but osu! and video doesn't work on a lot of machines, so I disabled it and put a background in it. The video is still accessible through the source-code, but since it really doesn't matter, you shouldn't bother thinking about it.

:D Fun, and fast. I always come close to beating Insane, but the first couple beats on the circle of beats seem off, like you said.

Nice work, though.

Oh? That didn't seem to be the problem to me when you played it... what I meant at that time where the very last four beats when she sings "I - be - lieve - you". You always got the first one a bit too early.

I guess that's just a question of being prepared though... or so I hope. I'd like the input of others in that matter.

Boys and girls, download the map, play to the end (preferably in Normal, Hard and Intense) and tell me if you notice any complication!

Also, thanks for the positive feedback. :D It's also good to hear that Insane is still a challenge, even for those who are quite good at the game already.

Yes, a song I already know! I wonder how no-one had mapped this sooner, actually.

Ok, try 1,520 for the first timing section's offset and 19,120 for the second section's. With the 1,490 offset you have now, you first hear the metronome's tick and then the bell - you want these to coincide. Don't forget to resnap, both auto and then manual. I think you'll only need to nudge the circles in the first timing section one eighth of a beat to the right.

All your circles are placed perfectly to the music, congratulations!

Easy: There are some cases where your Distance Snapping of 0.4 isn't followed and circles are placed farther than they should. However, the difficulty settings on this one are crashing through the floor, so maybe this won't particularly disorient players.

Normal: However, from this difficulty on I believe you should be using a constant Beat Spacing value. Here, you seem to switch between 0.6 and 0.7 most of the time. My personal preference is a value that causes no (or few) notes that are close to each other on the timeline to appear bunched up together on the grid (although you can also place circles that are really close on top of each other). The bigger the hitcircles, the larger the Beat spacing value needs to be so that their edges don't overlap too much.

Unfortunately, fixing the spacing may mean that you might have to move entire patterns, like the combo starting at 00:21:32. You probably won't be able to nudge everything up, since the beat spacing there will tell you that the first circle should be outside the grid, so you may have to move it to the left or to the right.

Hard: You seem to switch between 0.7 and 0.8 here, and the spacing inconsistencies are fewer. The circles could be a bit smaller.

Insane: Few spacing inconsistences, as in Hard.

Since you have the right bpm, perfect note placement and my only suggestions are a small change in offset and some fixes in spacing, I think you deserve a star.

I've only checked hard since Sinistro took a look at it already, and I've downloaded this song to be modded this afternoon but forgot to.
I'll say 19,130 offset for the second one.

And I edited your topic title for the lulz. Feel free to change it.

Plenty plenty. 8D It took me some time, but I think I got pretty much all of your listed issues covered, the best that I could, anyway. I also decided to fix some spacing, especially in Insane-mode, there were some places that didn't seem to be very comprehensible to people. I hope it's better now and more enjoyable.

Thanks for taking the time to get so much into detail. It's really appreciated. :D

ghdghdkgdh. Haha, no, it's a great title, should've done that in the first place. |D

And I went with your offset in the maps, thanks for that. And for the feedback. And yey for modding. :D

Awesome beatmaps, shame James/Sinistro didn't follow up on this
I think the second timing offset should be 19,100, got heaps of 100s and 50s with 19,130.

Anyway, hope you are still around to update and see this get ranked. Star from me, since you need to fix that 2nd offset. Otherwise I think this could get ranked pretty soon.
