to announce BOTH ranked and qualified beatmaps in #announce

basically the idea is to rename "has just been ranked!" to "has just been qualified!" (which i believe had to be done long time ago) and also announce when qualified beatmaps are moving to ranked.

as we know, qualified beatmaps can be disqualified within 1 week, so players are aware they can lose their scores. so i think its a good idea to announce when qualified beatmap has passed those 7 days period and finally archieved ranked status.

This would make sense as you have no idea how many times I've seen people get annoyed over losing their scores despite it being clearly written right there in the Qualified description. However I normally play Qualified maps and, well...yeah (at least I understand the risk though)

Many people will think the map gets ranked, and after some days they lose their score
This is normal for qualified, but as of now, there is no way to tell difference between ranked/qualified (same symbol for example)

I have an idea.

If the map is qualified then the QAT/BAT saw some issues
In the #announce, it will announce X map has just been disqualified
If the creator has fix the issues that the QAT/BAT found,
It will announce X map has just been Re-ranked

ALL maps get qualified, that doesn't mean that they saw issues. It means the map has the same quality as a ranked map
After the map is in qualified for 7 days, it gets ranked
Also, unqualification (as Loctav wants it to be called) is not needed to be shown IMO
It's the risk of playing qualified maps
I can't agree with this idea, but the overall (both get announced) is great

I would perfer to know what map is offficially ranked and not qualified. A lot of people becomes butthurt because their score on a qualified map gets wiped and bashing on the Staff member they were not aware of this - even when it's clearly visible on the website. Personal preference to only know what map is FOR REAL ranked and not just qualified.

At all, I agree with most points for this request.

He was suggesting announcing the disqualifications of any qualified maps in #announce, and also shows up when they re-qualified

Whether announce shows qualified maps or not, people will be butthurt due to their own ignorance anyway.

What if we can have filters on #announce. Like if i only want to see top scores and only ranked maps there should be a command for the chat to not show me revived beatmaps and qualified beatmaps in this case.

I agree, It's a decent enough request.
I would be nice to announce more things in #Announce so it makes sense.
I actually quite like this idea!
