Main part of the song glowing?

So when you are about to play a song know how it has that little preview of it? well know how when you play the song during it everything gets glowy and its like yeah this is the part woo rock it!

Is there a way to remove that? im fine with it on every game mode aside from taiko. i recently started playing taiko again and i always mess up when that happens since it makes everything blurry and i can barley see notes because it just gets blurry mishmash of colours and its very... veery irritating.

yeah kiai sucks, thats life
i think theres some way to disable it but its not allowed/it was fixed.

You can go to options > Graphics > Detail Settings > turn off Shader Effect . (But I just turn off everything since it lags my craptop xD )

And that part of the song that gets all glowy is called "kai time" .

Kiai time gets very annoying but unfortunately nothing can be done about it. Iirc many have requested its removal and peppy flat out said no.

You can remove all kiai effect (except the strobing) by skinning certain files invisible and disabling shader effects.

I dont even notice when its kiai time. :P

yeah i use 100% dim all the time the only time this "kiai time" effects me is when i play taiko since the background that the taiko is on is not able to be dimmed T>T

Could you perhaps direct me to a skin that is like this? the time it effect me is on taiko i just dim 100% for other game modes so it doesnt effect me but with taiko
background that the notes scroll on i can't really do that T>T
