Although many can add to osu with skins and maps. What about coding? Does peppy has the code uploaded so coders can look through and read it? If not why or why not. I can totally understand why not if it isn't however just curious what you guys thought. :?

We are actively working towards making osu! open source, but there is still quite a bit of clean up work to be done before this happens. You can expect access to the source code early next year, all going well.

We went open source on Fri Aug 26 12:28:23 2016 +0900. Not far off, if you're trying to criticise us.

don't worry peppy, fysixx isn't trying to criticise you. fysixx just mentioned the fact that you said in 2014 that the source code would be avaliable early next year (which means early 2015), but the github repository for osu!lazer was actually created in 2016, which some would consider 2 years late from the forum post date (it's actually 1 year and some months late btw)

why not just round it up to 10 years late at this point? that sounds better on paper for sure.

for anyone visiting this thread, every component developed in the last decade or so is available over on github.
