Whoever knows both songs wins no prize whatsoever

Extended version of the above

Mashup #2

It went steadily downhill when I realized I couldn't get pitch-shift the tracks to work well together without sounding horrid. So I sort of gave up. But still. In theory, it was awesome.

I can hear the FFT/similarity scaling :(

What program are you using?

But that's not how mashups work.

I just realised that my headset actually does have a working bass. The thing almost fell of my head from the vibration.
HOLY SHIT
Mogsy
Finish this. Do it now.
Ph0X
Also, please use ATLEAST a 320kbps version of the 3oh!3 song, and also render it at v0/320 because bass at shitty bitrate = FFFFFFFFFFF

Shitty bitrate bass rapes headphones.

Go download Goldwave or something. It's pretty good and not all that different to audacity and has a whole slew more tools for you to use such as offset correction and the like.
Ph0X
Well, not really.
The bass does sound crazy, but doesn't mean the quality is good. I can still hear the horribly low bitrate, but that's probably because I got good headphones and am a qualitywhore :<

Also
Goldwave is definitely way better than audacity.

Ph0X
slightly better quality on that bass.
Also, one thing goldwave doesn't have is multiple lines for doing mashups.
Might want to also look into Adobe Audition.
nardii
I use REAPER for everything audio-related ever, it's awesome. (OK, I use Reason as well but not for stuff like this.)
Ph0X
Yea, goldwave, reaper and reason are three completely different type of tools.
One of them is for editing audio, second one is for mixing tracks in a linear way and the third one is a emulator for hardware synthetizers. There's also DJ tools which do live mixing, so that's a 4th category.

Let's not get into mixing everything together :P

Well, audition and audacity kinda also do linear multitrack editing, but they are mainly for audio editing.

You couldn't figure that out by looking at the BG?
Ph0X
I'm used to seeing normal songs with anime backgrounds.
Guess why.
