methodology
the original image that your bg is from is 1300x885. Since background images are limited by height (768p), I cropped off the top and bottom to get the image to 1300x768. This achieves a wider aspect ratio than what you currently have, but not all the way to 16:9 (1366x768). I could have upscaled then cropped in order to get it to 1366x768, but that would have fairly significantly decreased the sharpness from the original image (due to upscaling interpolation). It also would have resulted in even less of the original image being in-frame. Osu upscales on its own anyway when internal resolution is higher than the bg resolution, so imho this 1300x768 image is as good as this image will get for osu.

welp all the overmap in the Another I wouldnt actually say that it's overmapped. The song itself ramps up a lot in the kiai, having these DnBish beats in here. The beginning is just pretty slow compared to that.

Hi there. M4M from my queue (but this might be some bad, short mod; since map is already too good).

[Easy]

  1. 00:48:720 (1,2,3) - Those sliders sound better IMO as 2/1 sliders (I think they follow vocal a bit more accurately). Also, it helps to avoid the 1/2 click (which isn't exactly 1/2 since BPM change, but meh) in 00:50:720 (3,1) - . Since that's the only 1/2 click on this diff, and it's practically in half song, it's very confusing to follow. Even if you don't extend sliders, you should seriously consider a way to avoid the 1/2 click.
  2. I really think 3/2 clicking in Easy is kinda hard to follow (since polarity of rhythm changes, making it hard to predict), and you use a lot of those clicks during Kiai. The suggestion I have here (this can even be called suggestion? lol) is to turn some circles into 3/2 sliders with reverses; and to avoid spamming those sliders all among this part, you can use 2/1 rhythm in places where you see fit, like 00:57:209 ~ 00:59:875 - (the first part of Kiai).
  3. This diff is pretty much clean of anything else. It's very good, and I actually like it!

[Normal]

  1. 00:11:053 (5,1) - I consider this stack a bit hard to read, since players were already clicking 1/2 notes after several sliders, and those circles appear almost at the same time (from a subjective point of view, since there is the difference of distance). So, I suggest to unstack for readability's sake.
  2. 00:25:886 (2,1) - The stack here's just a bit imperfect. You should check it (you can delete 00:26:720 (3,4) - for a moment to fix, then re-add).
  3. 00:28:552 (2,1) - This is maybe just a nazi thing, but I think those would look better if blanketed.
  4. 00:45:720 (6,1) - Check this blanket (it seems a bit off for me).
  5. 01:06:542 (4,5,6,7) - Those ones sound kinda weird, since the first half of the pattern followed vocals, and now you suddenly turned to follow beats. Maybe you should continue to follow vocals until next combo (just place the circles 1/2 beat after their actual position; (7) has to stop being a slider through).
  6. 01:20:209 (3,1) - The blanket here is sightly off. To fix it, you should actually move the slider tail, instead of anything else.
  7. What I liked the most in this diff was the flow you have. It's great!

[A Mystery's Hard]

  1. 00:09:720 (4,5) - Just thinking those overlap and flow quite weirdly. Maybe you could try to move (4) to x:312|y:328 (aproximately) and test how it plays.
  2. 00:11:886 (3,4) - It feels a bit weird how those overlap, but you don't need to change it, actually (flow is good in this thing). Just mentioning it since other people can do so.
  3. 00:22:553 (2,3) - ^
  4. 00:31:220 (4,7) - You should check this crossbow here. Blanket is imperfect and curve slider isn't perfectly crossed by arrow (the straight slider).
  5. 00:48:053 - This pause here just feels very unnatural since you mapped the beat on 00:48:053 - and are skipping this one. I suggest to either map this beat or erase the one at 00:48:053 - to simply follow vocal, since right now it's very ankward to play.
  6. 01:26:542 - This is the only diff of the set that hasn't this last beat mapped, and I think it's a strong sound worthy of being mapped, so why don't you try it?
  7. Nice flow you have here, and rhythm is good! I like it!

[Noz's Insane]

  1. First of all, disable Widescreen Support. It isn't needed here since no SB (maybe you just forgot it, since the other diffs have it disabled).
  2. 00:15:053 (3,4) - It seems this blanket is just a tiny bit off. Maybe you should fix it with Grid Snap disabled (since that doesn't allow to make it "perfect").
  3. 00:17:720 (3,4) - ^
  4. 00:17:886 (4,1) - I think you shouldn't make those overlap. It looks a bit weird IMO and makes notes seem so clustered since 00:17:886 (4,5,1) - those notes are so close to each other.
  5. 00:26:386 (2,3) - The blanket of those two is a small bit off. You should correct it (and fix double blanket that 00:26:053 (1) - does with those two sliders if you move them).
  6. 00:35:220 (6,7,1,1) - Blanket here (if intended) also seems to be off.
  7. 00:37:386 (4) - I actually don't think it's a nice idea to use reverses here, since vocal starts changing it's rhythm on 00:37:720 - (where second reverse is), so I actually suggest to make 00:37:720 - that beat clickeable (you can use circles or a slider if you want).
  8. 00:49:720 (1,3) - Blanket of those (if intended) is off... Also, stack of 00:49:720 (1,4) - is imperfect too.
  9. 00:52:209 (2,3) - Blanket (if intended) is off.
  10. 00:54:459 (1,1) - I know there isn't a limit in how close can be an object from a spinner end on Insane, but this is just too hard to predict, since next combo color is the same as spinner color (on default skin), making next slider hard to see. And even if players manage to see it, a 1/4 gap is just too short to be able to react in time IMO. So I suggest to give a larger gap of reaction (ending spinner on 00:56:209 - should work, I guess).
  11. 00:56:875 (3,1) - Blanket here is off.
  12. 00:58:542 (1,2,3) - ^ (double blanket).
  13. 01:10:959 (3,5) - Those ones seem like overmapping to me... The high-pitched sounds (and the other beats) are actually on 01:10:875 (2,4,6) - only.
  14. 01:23:125 ~ 01:23:459 - The gap in rhythm here is just too unnatural. You could map that place with 1/4 notes (either stream or slider(s) work).
  15. Funny diff! Through some blankets seem to need a check... (or maybe it's just my fanatism for blankets o.o).

As for Another, I can't really see any problem with the diff (and it doesn't seem like my mods in an Insane (or Extra, I don't know which diff you consider it to be) will help enhance it greatly), so I won't mention anything on that diff.

Overall, it's a great mapset, and I really hope to see it on ranked some day.

  2. I really think 3/2 clicking in Easy is kinda hard to follow (since polarity of rhythm changes, making it hard to predict), and you use a lot of those clicks during Kiai. The suggestion I have here (this can even be called suggestion? lol) is to turn some circles into 3/2 sliders with reverses; and to avoid spamming those sliders all among this part, you can use 2/1 rhythm in places where you see fit, like 00:57:209 ~ 00:59:875 - (the first part of Kiai). I think the rhythm itself isnt as difficult to follow. Every single object in the Kiai is placed on the major beats (that happen to be on 3/2 stuffs). To introduce the player to these, I started the Kiai with a Slider so that they get the rhythm to know. I also want to avoid having too many Sliders and little to none Circles in that diff. I really dislike diffs that have basically no way of having a bad acc or a "bad play" (like Ritsuen - Milky Sliders diff). I'll get more opinions on this.
  3. This diff is pretty much clean of anything else. It's very good, and I actually like it! Thanks :3

[Normal]

  1. 00:11:053 (5,1) - I consider this stack a bit hard to read, since players were already clicking 1/2 notes after several sliders, and those circles appear almost at the same time (from a subjective point of view, since there is the difference of distance). So, I suggest to unstack for readability's sake. I completely removed it (in Easy as well). I think it'll be better if the player only has to follow the sounds (not vocals) like it does in the earlier combo.
  2. 00:25:886 (2,1) - The stack here's just a bit imperfect. You should check it (you can delete 00:26:720 (3,4) - for a moment to fix, then re-add). Those 1 pixel movements happen all the time, I hate the editor. Too minor to care right now :v
  3. 00:28:552 (2,1) - This is maybe just a nazi thing, but I think those would look better if blanketed. The problem with blanketing this is that it'll make it look faster than it actually is. Distance between objects = time between objects. If the object looks like it's 1/1 or 1/2 away, but appears a bit later, it'll probably just confuse the player and they end up hitting it too early, since -> http://puu.sh/eNmVB/058a540016.jpg looks really close. The position where it's at right now is further away and probably easier to read. I cant really blanket this well. (Neither will they probably notice anyway)
  4. 00:45:720 (6,1) - Check this blanket (it seems a bit off for me). 1 was curved too much. Fixed
  5. 01:06:542 (4,5,6,7) - Those ones sound kinda weird, since the first half of the pattern followed vocals, and now you suddenly turned to follow beats. Maybe you should continue to follow vocals until next combo (just place the circles 1/2 beat after their actual position; (7) has to stop being a slider through).I think these are fine. They're the same as the ones before, just that the Sliders are now Circles. This was made because it's the end of the first kiai part, it's climactic, the highlight -> more difficult, blah blah. I think you know what I want to say :3
  6. 01:20:209 (3,1) - The blanket here is sightly off. To fix it, you should actually move the slider tail, instead of anything else. adjusted
  7. What I liked the most in this diff was the flow you have. It's great!

  9. 00:52:209 (2,3) - Blanket (if intended) is off. - Fix
  10. 00:54:459 (1,1) - I know there isn't a limit in how close can be an object from a spinner end on Insane, but this is just too hard to predict, since next combo color is the same as spinner color (on default skin), making next slider hard to see. And even if players manage to see it, a 1/4 gap is just too short to be able to react in time IMO. So I suggest to give a larger gap of reaction (ending spinner on 00:56:209 - should work, I guess). - Fix
  11. 00:56:875 (3,1) - Blanket here is off. - Fix
  12. 00:58:542 (1,2,3) - ^ (double blanket). - Fix
  13. 01:10:959 (3,5) - Those ones seem like overmapping to me... The high-pitched sounds (and the other beats) are actually on 01:10:875 (2,4,6) - only. - I don't think it is. I'll see with more mods I guess.
  14. 01:23:125 ~ 01:23:459 - The gap in rhythm here is just too unnatural. You could map that place with 1/4 notes (either stream or slider(s) work). - The rhythm is similar to other section so it's more intuitive for players, and I think it play well like this.
  15. Funny diff! Through some blankets seem to need a check... (or maybe it's just my fanatism for blankets o.o).

Overall, it's a great mapset, and I really hope to see it on ranked some day.

Since there's plenty of high quality pic of her now, I suggest using them instead of this bg so bg will be related to the song more.

I might also randomly mod this weekend because sasakure.UK and this song is amazing.

In general, I prefer harder Normals over easier Normals. I want to have a noticeable difference between Easy and Normal - and not only by a few more Sliders.

  3. 00:50:720 (3) - maybe take off repeat? i don't think it really emphasizes much and this way you can avoid the 1/2 I think that one is fine. I kinda like the 1/2, too. It supports the sudden change in the music really well imo.
  4. 00:54:376 (1) - this isn't enough recovery time lol, need at least 1000ms or 1 measure ( you only have 917ms but idk if this is such a big deal) I think the almost-1000ms should be fine. If a QAT bitches about that, which makes me pretty much ruin the start of the kiai, I wont send him/her any chococookies >:c
