Is that an optimus chipset (do you have an intel card too)?
GhostFrog
I'm not really sure what that means or how to check for it so hopefully this answers it

Here's the log. Drastic performance increase with snaking slider on.

cursor unable to move within osu

This happens to me too on both external mouse and the laptop's track pad. Mouse clicks work though
kokopanko
same here, the ingame cursor won't move, but the click does work
Bauxe
Yep cursor won't move as long as raw input is enabled. Disabling allows me to move it.

this is a pretty first world problem but hey maybe it helps you.

In the cutting edge version my amd driver crashes when playing osu at uncapped frames (arround 1000fps).
The fallback version runs stable at arround 1200fps without any crashes.

I am using a r9 390x with the latest amd drivers without any overclock. I really dont care about this but
maybe it helps?

ran into this strange slider render bug while spectating, no idea what could have caused it http://puu.sh/lHpU7/b3079d04cf.png

edit: happened again, same slider. http://puu.sh/lHqlQ/1550aa8de7.png

Beatmap: https://osu.ppy.sh/b/704360

No debug options are enabled, snaking sliders on, in case that info helps.

^^ also this, but it was fixed by simply restarting the game.

running b20151203.1

@rickput: For what it's worth, that bug is already fixed in a patch which will be merged soon :).
Uniterno
I'm having some spikes lags in the 20151203.3cuttingedge while playing.

Notes:
-No debug options.
-Maximum FPS limit: 240fps

When I try to place a slider in the editor, it's body become pretty short and doesn't change even if I do something like adding more anchors, though sliderball goes on that path where slider should be.

Got the same issue on my client as well.
Fatal3ty
I have a new problem with snaking sliders. Every time the sliders open, jerky extremely. Until yesterday, it was never like that. Please fix, thank you. :?

Same here. When i turn on compatibility mode, the sliders turn invisible, as if they are not being rendered.
Tested on a different computer and it had graphical issues that didnt happen on my main machine, switching the sliders with sqaures of other osu elements (skin/song select/etc).

I'll try to provide a picture of the slider graphical errors as soon as possible

We're aware of the issues with the sliders. Don't use cutting edge for the time being if you have problems with the sliders. Beta works just fine.

So I've been getting dropped frames (and resulting lag spikes) for a little while now (GTX 970) but reduce dropped frames fixed it. However, since playing with half fps isn't my cup of tea I tried messing around and it seems that if I play a song with reduce dropped frames and then take it off, I magically don't get dropped frames, my fps goes right back up but I get small stutters. (very playable, 0.55ms without option and 1.1ms with option)

I posted my performance.log a while back, but here's another one with the new build: http://puu.sh/lJyHh/e45195d67c.log

I have reduce dropped frames turned on, yet today many FCs were ruined by dropped frames. Still running my GTX970 and pretty decent PC with osu on SSD.

The latest build is giving me really poor frame time suddenly. I don't know exactly what was changed.

While playing a beatmap the frame time will change almost randomly from around 0.7 to 2.5 on the latest cutting-edge build. I switched to stable after trying to figure out the problem and my frame time is completely normal there, which is usually 0.8-1.2.

I've spent a lot of time in the past messing with settings and cutting down my skin to a minimal number of images to get the best frame time I could. I would like to know if anybody is having similar frame time problems or if there is some known issue killing frametimes. Cutting-edge is unplayable for me at the moment.

Post the performance.log file found in the osu!/logs directory.

I switched back to cutting-edge and played 3 maps for a bit. This is the performance.log for that.

Submitting via BSS kind of "locks" the buttons ("Update Beatmap" and "Submit") for ~10 seconds before I can hit them. If I try to hit them before, it's like there's no button at all.
Sometimes spamming helps.

After reading peppy blog, I actualy thought something has been done about optimus users (As peppy is asking about perf issues by optimus users), so I tried switching osu! to dedicated GPU (Because with the intel one I must play in 720p resolution, when I could play in 1080p using DirectX on dedicated GPU before) and...
Actualy I feel like it's the exact same as 4 mounths ago when I was still playing, high input lag and very bad performance overall depsite usng 720p (Intel GPU give better perfs, this doesn't sound right)
I think "dedicated" full screen still doesn't work correctly.
I have F.lux on my PC too, but depsite osu! saying me that F.lux makes osu! performance bad, it doesn't seem to affect me when playing full screen with integrated GPU (And I can't desable it or my eyes are going to be broken after 5 minutes, too.)

EDIT : I tried disabling F.lux and perf was better, but it still has input lag, "dedicated"' fullscreen definitly doesn't work as you can see below (Something like this can't happen on dedicated fullscreen)

You can't get the taskbar over a game that is in true fullscreen.

I'm not sure if I'm just retarded or something, but I can't delete any sort inherited timing sections from the ''Inherited Points'' tab in the ''Timing and Control Points'' menu. It's not a big deal since I can remove these points from the other two tabs, but I figured it was worth pointing out.

I fixed the issue. Just need to wait for it to get in.

I can't turn up/turn down volume in-game, but i can in the main menu, someone can help me please?
I reinstall the game btw but still can't

Issue(s) in this thread have been addressed by the following changes:
  1. Fix control points not being changed when using a filter. (TheVileOne)
The changes will be applied to builds newer than b20151209.3cuttingedge.

Please follow up in this thread if you believe more work needs to be done to fix the mentioned issues. If they have not yet been resolved, please provide any new details that may have arisen after this build.

The editor hates me.

Slider bodies seem to somehow get disposed in the editor. I'm not sure how to reproduce this, but this happed a whole bunch of times to me in a single mapping session after mapping for a little while (~30 minutes). Sometimes one invisible slider would somehow get drawn again but then another one was gone. Not sure what's up, but here's some screenshots.

They're currently aware of the slider issues, and recommend you use the beta instead if you're having problems ;)
A Mystery
Small bug:

When making a new inherited point for changing volume by adding one, typing a number in the "audio" tab and pressing enter right after to "save" it, it uses the volume that it initially had when adding the inherited point instead of the one you typed in.

You have to add a new one, it doesn't work if you edit one or if you change it first by clicking on another timing point. You can see a short frame that it changes the volume of that point when pressing enter, but it doesn't save it.

I can only reproduce this in CE

EDIT:
Another bug just found in the editor, not sure if I should make a separate post for this.

New undo system is great, but I cannot undo moving objects by pixels (not grids). It just undoes whatever I did before.
For example, when making a triple by placing 3 circles, then moving the circles by a few pixels, and I use undo, it will remove the circles in the order I placed them without moving them back in position where I placed them initially.

Happen to have a link to whatever states that? I've not seen this reported anywhere. My post was specific to the editor, btw.

Maybe I'm mistaken, but TheVileOne mentioned this on the previous page;

em if this is the place to report bugs then there is one in editor when i try to update a beatmap it does like 3 steps to the global networkt then an error message pops up :/ (tried on latest, fallback and cutting edge nothing works :/)

That sounds like it's about a different issue that is also to do with invisible sliders to me. Well, anyway, thanks.

That was a different issue that is already resolved. I'm not sure what is causing this. I haven't replicated it yet.
Dea ex machina
Can confirm. After around 25 minutes of mapping, it started to happen like crazy, and once I exited the editor and reopened it, it was done. Does it have something to do with the undo log changes (since it could possibly be based off of how long you're in the editor)?

I think I have an idea of what is causing this.

Sliders have a little malfunction, specially with hidden. In the video, you can see that the whole slider appears for one frame, then jumps back to normal. Slow down the video if you want, but I did a frame by frame playback.

Not sure if this was ever reported, but this issue has been occurring on and off randomly ever since the move to the new OpenGL renderer.

Basically, the 300s sometimes (randomly) don't appear. Happens on normal circles, sliders, spinners. Not sure if this happens with 100s or 50s. (EDIT: yes, this does happen with 100s and 50s.) It was difficult to capture this because it's random (and pretty rare), but I managed to finally: https://lambda.sx/VyL.mp4 here you can see it happening on two sliders and a circle.
