In all seriousness, Hey, I'm Bubbleman, and I found this year's OWC on twitch not long ago so I thought I'd play along after realising that this is awesome and yet not at all like EBA

I have quite a musical background, having played violin/viola for 5 years (put it down a while ago though), Guitar for 4. Don't know if that means anything here XD

One question to start from, which fingers do people use to tap? I use my index and ring, but I'm not sure if that's the 'correct' way.

the ring finger is a bit interesting.. but that might have to do with your musical background. i use index and middle finger; it just feels natural for me.

anyway, welcome to osu! dont try to be the best just try to improve and enjoy yourself !

Thanks for the warm welcome. I'm actually quite interested in how mapping works, and as I'm a natural lurker, I'll be sure to hover around there for a little while.

Hi, welcome to osu!. I mainly use middle/index fingers when tapping/alternating/streaming/whatever.
