The parts Ticclick found overmapped were quite doubtful to me. I would like to have more opinion on this before making decision about the diff. What do you guys think?

map has been graved, archiving for now

unarchived due to the request of the qualifying BAT, seems still something need to be discussed in this mapset to help the creator.

Your problem is that you're treating the song as if it didn't have vocals at all, trying to make this an excuse good enough to do with your map what others do, even in spite of no changes in the beat.
I didn't think it is anything wrong when a mapper choose to note follow the instrument track instead of the vocal. In maps including vocal, if mapper suddenly change to follow vocal/instrument, we (not only modders or BATs but also players) will feel confused. Let's say Best of 2013 -- The Pretender, RLC follows instrument all the time, no one complains and say "you should follow 'what if i say...' blahblah".
It is quite hard to find a way to mix two tracks together, mappers are not composers, I think follow one track all the time and don't make mistakes are good enough.

For 1/4 slider jump/overmap issue, these sounds are really weak or no sound, alacat also confirmed this, I don't really have questions on this.
My only question is why this issue was seen so seriously in this map. As Yuki pointed in p/3688343, many qualify maps also have this kind of issues, I personally think it is quite unfair to only say no to this map, even though QATs might say a few slider end overmap is tiny issue and can't be dq blahblah. then good lucks to A****** ***o and H****R hope you can have ranked maps in the future. well just fyi, maybe not so objective, sorry for that.

More often times than not, a vocal is stronger than the instrumental track behind it. If the mapper chooses to pick a rhythm in the song that is not very apparent, then there could be confusion in the play. In 1/4 patterns, playing consistently might be an issue since the player cannot pick up the sounds that accent the objects in play. Choosing to incorporate the vocals alongside the background track stands to make a very good map, since people can follow along with the (usually) stronger vocals and play interesting patterns with the (usually) weaker instrumental track. Following one track or the other can provide for a rather confusing experience imo. Granted: I haven't done an in depth analysis of the map, but I think this can apply to the situation (and yes, there are always exceptions to this).

All depends on who is looking at the map. Although I think I agree with TicClick on this one.

Someone might want to clear up that thread too, seems like a lot of drama is stirring up.

Be objective in this thread please. Or this will make the discussion invalid. This might be the last chance to save the map. Be reasonable please. Also checking that thread soon.

Giving few opinions here, hope you don't mind

Why do these still exist? They should've been changed to notes or something after my talk with smallboat

As the overmap things mentioned, most of them are on instruments, and some of the vocal is kinda dragging

Not to force mapper to make sliders and drag everything, readable patterns like jumping short sliders are acceptable IMHO

The mappers seem not satisfied with the mods and insist to remain intact, so I feel we could try and not to force them to change to our very "quality" standard in order to get the map ranked
