We had screenshots of the engine before, but these are from the game itself

I honestly want to call bullcrap on some of these:

going to have to win the lottery to get a graphics card that will support that ^_^

Not really.
After crysis, they raged and decided to never make a PC exclusive again.
So Crysis 2 will be for consoles too, therefore, they had to lower the requirements.
Well, mainly, what they did is set the story in town, which reduces the drawdistance by A LOT. And as you probably know, the thing that rapes your gpu the most is drawdistance. You'll probably be able to run it on max with a gtx285 or higher, which isn't THAT much.

You must have heard that from people who haven't played it. I'm serious, only people who haven't played it talk shit about it.
The first game was absolutely amazing and is overlooked simply because the graphics are so good and that's what people recognize it as.
It had one of the best Single-player FPS campaigns I had ever played. It was long, fun to play, the physics system was top notch (except ragdolls froze when they touched the ground for some reason), on higher difficulties it's actually a challenge, there are tons of ways to go about fighting people (grab a Korean by the neck throw him into a house to knock down the house killing other Koreans, or just turning invisible whenever they find you and snipe them away one by one), and it had some of the most amazing twists in any FPS ever. I don't want to spoil it, but I was blown away when it happened. It was a very unique and non-generic experience, and the game gets very atmospheric too as you may assume.
That being said, the vehicles are shit and the multiplayer is bland and boring.

The first game would've been great if most of the Nanosuit powers weren't so ridiculously underpowered. Strength only increases your strength by a tiny little bit, speed only lets you run for about two seconds before running out of energy, and even with "maximum armor" on, enemies kill you way too quickly if you approach them head-on.

The result is that you spend most of the game using invisibility to sneak up on enemies and take them down one-by-one, which gets boring really quickly. The story and atmosphere was really good, though, and Warhead was even better since it had a main character with some actual personality.

Well to me, I think crysis does get a lot of shit, and it was one of the rare games I actually finished.
It would be over the average on my list. Not the best game, but definitely worth playing. Of course, it would be lower on my list if the graphics were complete shit, but nonetheless, the gameplay isn't as bad as people say it is.

The main thing I loved about it is how you are free to choose your style. You can either rush with speed, sneak with invisibility, camp with armor, etc. Also, I really loved the gun customization.

I agree with Loginer to some extent, but thing is, first of all, in many cases, you can actually skip the killing and run through some places like a pussy. Also, the fact that you can actually try different methods of killing makes it slightly less boring. Of course if you always do it the same way, it won't be fun, but if you give yourself a challenge, it gets pretty exciting.

So when will Crytek UK make time splitters 4. They bought Free Radical right after saying they want to focus more on consoles.
