(aka the Towel mod, or the Sudden+ mod)
This mod would place an image that blocks the top half of the play area, that can be adjusted up and down to make the game more comfortable to read and play for some players. It wouldn't give any score or pp bonuses, as it serves a similar purpose to (and is meant to be used in conjunction with) scrolling speed adjustment.
It's a mod that many other rhythm games have (in fact, I think even the latest versions of DDR have it), and it would be a nice feature to have in osu!mania.
