Ah, the only DDR console game I've ever played: Dance Dance Revolution 5th Mix. Loved it. <3
This time I started with my own favorite besides Paranoia, Afronova Primeval. Oh, I still remember the step chart for it (on basic of course, I don't really play much DDR).

This insane is one of the most trickiest difficulties I've ever made, to be honest. But I like it, still.

=Easy=
I am soooo not good at modding easy maps, so I have no idea where to start.
Though I would like to comment that it's nice to see an easy map that's so... Easy. Most of osu!'s player population isn't made of crazyawesome people who can get an S on Marisa, but those who can only pass on Easy/Normal songs. I give mad props for that.

=Normal=
01:36:382 - perhaps end the spinner here and put a hitcircle on 01:36:982, similar to Insane but with the circle in the center to retain that 'easy-ish' feel.

=Insane=
That was so much fun on the tablet you don't even--okay okay no fangirling
00:02:973 (2,3,4) - This combo felt weird. Can't explain why, but it's consistently kept me from FCing this with a mid-90s accuracy otherwise.
00:57:678 (1) - Another oddball. A single note at 00:57:978 might work better.

=General Commentary=
Great mapset, but the gap between Normal and Insane seems Grand Canyon Huge.
Consider making/having someone guest diff. a hard mode to shove a bridge in there.

But that's just my two cents, and it's still an excellent mapset IMO. Star is well-deserved.

Kudosu given for telling me to use DDR difficulty names. Thanks! The difficulty names in the 5th mix are: Basic, Trick and Maniac, if anyone is wondering.

Might want to make lead-in 1.5 just to give people slightly more time, up to you

Basic:
looks good

Trick:
00:23:475 (3,4) - align?
00:36:376 (5) - new combo?
00:37:576 (1) - remove new combo
00:41:177 (6) - new combo
01:02:779 (1) - move more on grid

Maniac:
don't have stack leniency all the way to the right on this difficulty
it seems like grid snap wasn't on for alot of these notes and thats why they aren't snapped
00:03:973 (1,2) - stack better
00:04:573 (3,4) - ^
00:19:874 (2,3) - ^
00:21:675 (4,5) - ^
00:29:175 (1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4,5) - make sure all of these are stacked well

not going to mention all of the stacking things just go through and clean it up

Everything in Trick fixed, but everything in Maniac denied. Stacking is supposed to look like that.
