Well... I think XP is better than Vista in Stability

But function wise, Vista has more stuff to use

Since SP1, Vista>ME!
I got vista, mainly because of Vista-tan, but also for the .net, google earth, and osu, and since I had HELL with previous PCs running older OSs, like 2000, then ME, then XP, then ME, then 95, then 98SE...
Before I got vista, I spent 3 months reading these forums, anticipating the day I finally got to play osu.

And the best part is: I CAN'T INSTALL SP1 ;___; Disregard that crap, I've just successfully installed SP1. And wow, moving files is so incredibly fast now... o.o
Also, strike-through doesn't work anymore. :/

My lappy came with Vista, but I'm on XP at the moment. Not ready quite yet to go back to Vista. Though there are some seriously KICKASS visual styles for it. 'least I still have Windowblinds. When I'm ready to go back to Vista, I've still got the install disc that came with my laptop for Home Premium. And I've got the anytime upgrade disc if I want Ultimate. :P

I wonder how XP SP3 will go?
