reminds me of Cytus, but where's the rhythm part? and btw, the videos should be coded in this way

Thanks.

The approach circle works as the same rhythm in standard, and the Hitbar works like the end of a slider. So depending on the time between notes, the Hitbar would be high up or low down. Harder songs could have either Hitbars low down with smaller circles/Hitbars, or high up with a faster set speed from under the yellow line to the Hitbar. So 1/2 second between 2 beats would be 1/2 second from drag/flick to Hitbar.

If that wouldn't work, even the flick with the approach circle could work alone as the way it would in standard, with the Hitbar being bonus points. Like standard, but each hit circle requires a flick for bonus points.

This sounds quite difficult for a mouse player, even for a tablet player. This is more like for a touchscreen, but the speed of the flick isn't always the same.

now i get it but, keeping the flick mechanic, let me suggest some changes: instead of an approach circle, it should be an approach line from down to up. flick the ball when the line reaches the hitbar, if it hits too early, lower score, if it hits too late, miss. If it hits in time, bigger score. this could result in a more comprensive but way too difficult(than the former) mode to play, but its up to you

That's a great idea. I would have never thought of that, and it definitely allows for rhythm. I'll make another clip tomorrow to see if it flows just right.

This sounds like it would be a load of fun to play on a touchscreen. Tablet or mouse not so much...

If you can play Scarlet Rose on this, fun guaranteed!
