Hold Frame for Missing Frames in Animation

...I can't quite explain it in a short sentence, but here is my explanation:
When I have 0.png, 6.png, 12.png, and 18.png.
Under current osu! settings, the animation stops at 0.png.
What I'd like better is this:
0.png replaces the missing 1.png to 5.png, 6.png replaces the missing 7.png to 11.png, etc.

I don't write programs, but isn't it better to just have correctly named pngs to avoid redundant computations - which.. all of them together could make the game run worse? Alternatively you could define the use of png1 in the skin.ini but that makes it harder for someone ignorant to make a skin. Overall it's probably better to keep it this way, if you want a sequence of the same png just copy it and name it properly.
