Today i'm creating this post just to share with feelings after Wacom tablet arrived. So let's make it to main point.
Osu tablet aka huion h420/420 is way worse than Wacom CTL 480 because of:
Heavier pen and it also requires external power supply (battery)
Smaller working area. So after playing couple of thousands songs on huion i can tell that smaller working area = lower precision which means that you have to focus more on accuracy... On the other side, bigger area means that you have to shake your hands more...
Hover ability of osu! tablet is extremely low. In my case putting higher than (approx) 0.5cm above caused that tablet has been unresponsive .With CTL 480 i can put approx twice as much as i could do it on osu! tablet.
What's good about !OSU Tablet?
Latency. Well i figured out that CTL's pooling rate is 130 which equals about 8 ms . Comparing with huion which has 200pp and 5ms.
Portable sizes . CTL is twice or more bigger than osu tablet.
Long wire. Well when i got ctl 480 i was sure they will give me 2m length minimum, but what i received ~0.5m wire...
OSU! logo. Conspicuous consumption when you are sitting with friends and playing osu!
So is that worth of paying double of osu! tablet price?
Well, It's worth every penny you spent on it. Osu! tablet might be good as "starter" (in my opinion) ,but more you play then your appetite is increasing when you are looking at advantages in longer terms of cooperating with osu!.
