The very first anime I watched, and the first anime I watched in DVD was CardCaptor Sakura.. a great watch even now for me.
SAO was the first anime I watched through Internet and I'm not ashamed, it's like the most popular anime and light novel in Japan, and among the most popular outside. The 2nd was Death Note, it couldn't be helped.. everyone was talking about these two things and I had to take a look.
The first animes I watched in TV were School Rumble, Kodomo no Omocha and Ranma 1/2. Slice of life combined with Comedy and Romance I guess, that was probably the time when I truly enjoyed watching animes.
I have to say it, watching animes in TV was truly satisfying, you had to wait for the weekly episodes to come out, you had to remember the airing hour.. whether it was late night or early morning before school. Those were golden times
