something to think of, about the score system...

just made this graph of how many points you get(on a 300 note song) depending on where in the song you miss

not saying I want to change it or anything, just wondering if where you miss should have that much of an difference... :?:



note: im not taking into account for multipliers you get from spinners and sliders, just notes in this graph...

X-axis is where you miss and Y-axis is how many points you get with that one miss

you get no points for missing
im not going to explain why combo is important but i'll just say. aim. jumps. hard patterns. non-uniform difficulty of a beatmap. this is the same reason accuracy is not valued over combo. someone who got a lot more 300's but missed in the middle in the hard jump pattern part did NOT do better than someone who landed all the pattern jumps but had less accuracy.
