I failed my drivers test...

I parked perfectly. Signaled perfectly. Speed limit perfectly.

Why did I fail?

Because I didn't have a tight enough grip on the steering wheel. Yep. Take your hand right now and form a C. That was my grip. It's supposed to be an O though, not a C. Jeeze, what the fuck was I thinking. I'm such a hazard on the road.

Thanks for the laugh, lawl.

And to spite you, when I passed initially a few years ago for my test, I drove with one hand on the wheel through the whole thing. You probably got an instructor on a bad day. ;x

Hey, I failed several times, don't feel so bad :P

Thank god I passed like a month ago. I made 3 perfect parks :D Only 6 more log book hours before I terrorize on the roads. I think I'm a pretty conservative driver, but I keep thinking of games like Need For Speed Carbon or Most Wanted whenever I'm behind the wheel. Hopefully those inhibitions won't actually eventuate.

Driving examiner has a larger impact on your liklihood to pass than you'd think.

I tend to drive with one hand when I'm turning, but I often drive down the highway and stuff with my knee - whoever heard of air-guitaring with just one hand?

Wow, that sounds like hell. All we're required to do here is 15/18 questions correct to get a learners permit, then 50 hours of driving + 6 months later (nobody listens to the 50 hour part) you can take your test. It's about a half a mile drive with one parallel park. Once passing this, you're free to drive any time with anybody except for 11 PM - 5 AM, until you're 18. Then you have total freedom.

I have now passed my hazard perception test and am in proud possession of a driver's licence. Can't wait til they mail me my card. Cruising around with M-Flo playing in the car is awesome.
