[Discography] Love Live! School idol project

Well hello there. Decided to create a project (coincidence?) for this franchise because of the awesome songs (I swear it's not because of the cute and adorable girls), and there are still a lot of songs from them that are still not here with a ranked/approved version yet!

I wish to be able to see all the Love Live! songs (of the past, present, and future) get mapped and ranked someday, and I believe this is a good way to encourage people to start mapping more μ's songs \o/

What is "Love Live! School idol project"? (copied verbatim from Wikipedia)
Love Live! (ラブライブ! Rabu Raibu!?) School Idol Project is a Japanese multimedia project co-developed by ASCII Media Works' Dengeki G's Magazine, music label Lantis, and animation studio Sunrise. The project revolves around a group of fictional school girls who become idols in order to save their school from shutting down. It launched in the August 2010 issue of Dengeki G's Magazine, and went on to produce music CDs, anime music videos, two manga adaptations, and video games. A 13-episode anime television series produced by Sunrise and directed by Takahiko Kyōgoku aired in Japan between January and March 2013, with a second season airing between April and June 2014. Both anime series are licensed in North America by NIS America. An animated film has also been announced.

  • Note: I'm not going to list the solo version of the songs that the members of μ's sung together (basically, anything in the Solo Live! Collection Memorial Box) and the original soundtrack ones, unless there is a ranked, or notable pending/WIP version of the songs. It'll make the list way too long, and not many people are interested in them anyway. Also, I'll only list maps that are ranked, approved, actively being worked on in the pending/WIP section, or notable graveyarded maps. There is no exact definition of "actively being worked" and "notable" maps, since it's impossible to do it without causing inconveniences in the future, so I'll judge them per case.

    Also, all the listed maps are osu! standard maps unless otherwise noted.

Map packs
I am creating and organizing map packs for this project. Learn about the packs more here!

If you're wondering about the song list, I'm not gonna make one since I think it'll only create redundant texts and stuff. Look at the map list above and see the most-right text of the map to find out in which pack is the mapset placed. Just remember that I'm packing these maps according to the time when they get ranked, from the earliest up to the latest.

Write your map's link here (or just send me a PM) if it's pending or WIP. I'll review its activity, and I'll add the map on the list if I think it seems to be active enough (quality doesn't matter a lot here, but I really wish to be able to see great maps)!

I'll automatically insert all ranked maps of Love Live! songs, so no need to notify me on that.

With that, I hope people can continue to enjoy Love Live! songs on osu! and keep supporting them!

I am not sure if you want to include this, but there was a eroge related song album that specially credited u's. Since they are credited on the cover of the album, you can consider it a love live product. http://www.amazon.co.jp/PS3-%E7%A5%9E%E ... B00BGE4OWY

About that PS3 game, I do realize that the game exists, and I also have that here in my Love Live! songs collection, but honestly, I'm not quite sure whether to add that or not since it's a tie-in to another non-Love Live! product.

Of course; I accept all kinds of maps in this project!

As long as you're willing to work on it actively, I can add it in the list. It should be submitted via the BSS first, though :P

Beatmap has been done since yesterday...

But i'm having a big problem here

The upload stucked at "distributing to global network"

It still got uploaded, BUT there's no thread of the beatmap

Hmm, try uploading again? Also, the artist column is supposed to be filled with Uchida Aya & Kubo Yurika, the seiyuu of Kotori and Hanayo, not the two characters themselves (also, Kotori's surname is Minami, not Nanami!), so yeah, change them.

I'll add your map later after I finish taking care all of my stuff.

One thing that I forgot: Remove the (Short Ver.) since there's no official shortened version of the song and it's not allowed to label a song as such if there aren't any official sources.

Also if you care, I did find the BPM for a few of the songs:

Someday of my life: 131

Susume tomorrow: 100 and 190
Soldier game: 128
Koi no shigunaru rin run run: 111
After school navigators: 200 and 198
Loveless world: 157

These are based on maps I worked on throughout time, but can't guarantee accuracy because some of the timings were done really fast. (Also on phone, so hopefully didn't make mistakes)

Hmm, I'll consider to add YouTube links. But then again, not all the songs are uploaded to YouTube, and there's also a risk of the corresponding YouTube videos getting hit by copyright infringement (a video for our country's standard tournament match got muted because there's Bokura no LIVE in it).

BPM eh? This might be helpful for those who wants to start mapping the songs. I might add the BPM value of the songs later.

*Arifureta's BPM value is 82 btw; the overall rhythm does make it feel like it's a 164 BPM song.

Also, I'm making unofficial map packs for the ranked maps of Love Live! songs. I'll use Firedrive for now since MediaFire is clogged with ads and I'm not sure of any other good alternative service. I'll consider using MediaFire if it's really needed, though.

Personally, I have been hosting my 1080p love live maps on my google drive, and that has been going well as long as you don't mind the files being linked back to you.

Ah, I competely forgot about Google Drive. I'll make that an alternative. Firedrive seems to be a really good choice, though, so I'll use that for now.

Also, I've uploaded one pack. I'm currently uploading another and I'll place the two in the OP once it's done.

Good to hear this! I surely hope that your assistance will make a good contribution to the community!

Also, I'd like to talk a bit about the map packs.

For every nine ranked mapsets of Love Live! related songs, I'll make one pack. I'll choose them in the order of their ranking time, and they will be placed in a single .rar file. Then, the pack will be uploaded to Firedrive, and I will post the download link on the first post of this thread!

You can find the first two packs on the OP. Enjoy what's there for now!

I know you are busy Hinsvar, but when you have time, can you update to add the songs Shangri-La Shower, Ruteshi Kisuki Shiteru, and Storm in Lover.

On another note, Notes of School idol days ～Glory～ is out, so if you want to map "Kore Made no Love Live!", go right ahread.
