In editor, notes randomly(?) removed after save

Hello,
I've experienced some trouble with the editor randomly removing notes (sometimes large parts). It happens after i've saved a beatmap and play it or test it (wich involves saving).
When i return to the editor, there's a bunch of notes at the very beginning of the song which probably correspond to the missing notes. (those do not appear when i test the beatmap but i can notice my lifebar drastically going down at the start of the the song).
I can't figure out the rule behind note removal but it's always the same notes (they don't seem to have anything special). Forced me to reedit some parts.

Is this a known problem?

On insane, it removed two notes wich were supposed to be around 00:22s
but it seemed ok just now (i've reedited it successfully). don't know why though...
i'll tell if i've got trouble again tanks

I have a feeling this could be a number format issue.. I'll have a look through any code changes I made in loading/saving and get back to you :).

I've checked through all code that has changed since the last full release and can't find any changes which would cause this behaviour... Tis a really strange once - can you do a bit more investigating and see if you can find a specific scenario where it happens? Also does it happen to other maps that you edit?

I've investigated the issue and figured out it only happened on sliders.
I've figured out a scenario you can try to reproduce:

Then go to editor and open EASY version.
-erase the couple of notes at the start
-at 22:03 sec
-copy slider marked "7"
-paste on 20:99 flip this one horizontally then reverse selection
-copy the new "7" and "8" sliders
-paste on 23:08 then flip the 2 sliders vertically and reverse selection
-go to the beginning of the song and test it: you should notice your life bar going down
-get back to the editor: 2 notes appeared at the start and only one slider remains (the first "7" one)
At least that's what happens for me...
If you have some time anyone try this i'd like not to be the only one...
Notice it happens once again around 00:22 and that the sliders are not really removed but replaced by simple notes at the beginning, out of the playable zone (i can sometimes see the shrinking circle).
I've yet to try beatmapping another song but now that i think about it, i remember already facing this a long time ago...
Oh by the way i'm on WinXP SP2 with Net Framework 2.0.
