Yes, you probably need help.

I took 5 seconds to look down the bug reports forum and came across this post.

What graphics card are you using? And you definitely tried the GraphicsFix=1 option?

Wow, ive never checked my graphics card, and i dont see anything along the lines of SiS, ATI, or NVIDIA. All i see is Realtek and Legacy, the heck?

And yes, I have tried that, still didnt work.

It sounds like your grpahics card probably won't support DirectX 9 as required by osu! :|

Oh wow, the hell, im sure all the mmo games ive played needs direct 9x, let me try to redownload stuff.

It would be very helpful if you are able to find out your exact graphics card model. It will be under Display Adapters in Device Manager (Control Panel -> System -> Hardware)

Oh wow, ive been looking under the wrong thing.

SiS 760.

Is it not able to run on osu?
peppy
It seems that way - quite an old card that doesn't support directx 9 features :(.

That thing is pretty ancient! Maybe you can find a cheap card that will run osu.. Anything with shader model 1.0 or higher (2002+ for most anything that isn't onboard) will run fine. Sorry about this requirement, but as I have stated elsewhere, while making the game more available is something I strive to do, I just don't have the time to look into this issue at the moment (considering the small number of people who have reported this problem).

Hope you understand

Maybe its time you upgrade that graphics card! A newer compatible one will cost as little as $20 depending on what type you go for.
