I meant that currently we see a bunch of difficulty icons in the beatmap listing (E,N,H,I), but since some of them are for Taiko, it's confusing. With your "T" idea, it would be much better.

I think it's a nice idea, although maybe rather than having just a [T] icon, I agree that having taiko-specific difficulty indicators would be smart. Maybe the same letters, but a different set of colors, or a different border around the letters.

Sounds like a good idea,with all those taiko-only maps around
in BSS...
(TaikOsu probably won't fit,as it's taiko authenics modified
to suit both taiko and osu!standard gameplay)

I might not be catching the point but, if the difficulty's name is "Taiko Oni" or "Taiko" or "Insertnamehere's Taiko" I don't think we would need a special way to tell if it is a taiko map. Unless you people can't read. I will support this if the icon is a little wada-don or katsu circle instead of a [T]. :3

If the wada-don is added, the results is this

I think it's ok for me, but It's fine for the [T] Icon because it's similar with the box with E, N, H, I

Basically TaikOsu maps are just equal to osu! maps anyway. It's up to the mapper how to utilize the options for osu!maps to turn it authentic when played on Taiko. (of course I know what I'm saying since I'm the one who made the second TaikOsu map in osu!

By the way, can I suggest too an icon or something to identify these maps on the song selection list? Maybe it's not necesary when the beatmappers write "Taiko" over these diffs, but it's my opinion.

I love the song at constant BPM, unless there are 0.5 on parts that are more than 5 seconds.
