I was told that having lower dpi was better and i understand why; however, up until that point i had been using higher dpi(between 2100-2400) for a very long time. I proceeded to change my dpi to the lowest i could comfortably use(1400 dpi) and i've been using this for about a month now, the issue is that, while it has become muscle memory, i still feel like i do better with higher dpi. I've gone past the point where the issue was that i couldnt reach notes in time for the most part; however, if i move it to 1800 i can suddenly beat my top scores even without that dpi being muscle memory, and i also feel like i move my cursor too slow in other games i play like league of legends. I understand that lower dpi will eventually be better, but how long do u think this will take? I feel like i should be able to play at least on par with how i was previously at this point but it doesnt seem to be happening.

First of, when you're gonna pick a dpi/tablet area, any kind of personal preference settings, what others tell you are advice.
Just use what makes you feel and play most comfortable.

every time you change your settings its a step backwards.
imo stay on your current dpi if you have no issues hitting notes on the edges/corners theres no reason at all to go higher
