A music control in the song listing would be amazing. Instead of constantly going back to the main osu! menu to pause, skip, stop music, etc. An integrated player is the way to go.

There is an integrated player, but should be also displayed as a reduced version for beatmap listing. Like Play and Pause or Stop.
I would love this. It's too bad I can't throw stars at you 
From what I've heard, Peppy doesn't want osu! to turn into a music player, but your idea seems like laziness to me.
