Do you think length should be taken into account (pp) gain

Surely.. the longer the map, the more likely you are to fail, so a 4 star map at 1min long shouldnt give equal pp to one which is 4 mins long.. and of equal difficulty. what do you think?

(as far as im aware the length of the song isnt taken into account, I may be wrong)

You may be wrong, because I seem to get more pp from marathons.

I may be wrong, though.

Also, no.

I generally have the idea that songs which are 1:29 in length (so TV size ones) are much harder on a technical level than longer songs. A 4.50 star song for me which is 1:29 is a hell of a lot jumpier and streamier than a 4min one that tends to have less severe patterns... I may be wrong but oh well.

You are right.
Shorter timespan tends to mean harder beatmaps.

Nope. Farmed 100pp yesterday in 2 hours playing short insanes. It's great.

if two maps of similar difficulty are compared, a longer one will give more pp (although i doubt the pp gain is that significant)

Well niggas don't play long-ass beatmaps so generally you're gonna get more pp because it's easier to get top-ass ranks
