Really, it'd be nice if we could do that... I've noticed that at least a couple of songs sound awkward with the way the countdown is calculated now. It seems to be coming in a beat or two late...

Can you name the songs please? 
I kind of thought the same, actually. The Go! often interferes with the first note of a song, making it difficult to see/hit...I think it's a beat early in general, or at least feels like that for songs of higher difficulty/bpm.

.I think I'll half the countdown for faster bpms - should fix this kinda thing.
Oh dammit. I'm not sure if the countdown feature was implemented at the time of making that beatmap, but I'd like to have the countdown disabled for that song.Kai wrote:

Also I disabled countdown for Love Song since Peppy hated where it came in.
