I hate it when I hit something with a non-300 a hitxxx comes up and 'blocks' my view.
Why can'y you make it to get multiple lightings (lightinghit-0, lightinghit-50 etc)
So it will follow combocolour.
Or otherwise change the hit-50, hit-100 etc to transparent and/or follow combo colour.
It might be too hard to see which one you hit, 50/100/300 but then you can make awesome hitbursts w/o blocking view.

I assume he uses a skin without the hitbursts (or wants to) but still wants feedback of his hits?

Well, tbh, I dislike the fact that the hitbursts are in the fore rground, while the lightings are in the background.
I'm at school atm, so i can't edit now.

Let's say a big one for 300, a smaller one for 100 etc
Please make them all skinnable (0,50,100,100g,300,300k,300g)

Better explanation why
Hitn.png go in the fore ground and cover other notes, and are always the same color
Lighting.png goes in the background and gets covered, and changes color, depending on combo color

to make hitburst apear under circles just add 1x1px 100% transparent files with these names to your skin:

As Imm terrible witg paint, i'll just explain
For a 300, you want a heart
For a 100, you want a star
For a 50, you want a broken heart
For a miss, you want a cross
These things will change color depending on combo color, which is what I really want
Or an better example
Just use the number, but as the normal hitburts go to the foreground and cover notes, this will go the background, and it's able to change color, according to combo color
Ofc, lighting should be kept, but make the player choose, lighting-0/50/100/100k/300/300g/300k.png or just normal lighting.png
