It made me wonder which one is better because I'm familiar with FNF and played OSU!Mania. The Osu !Mania is basically original FNF. And it made wonder that you can add songs to FNF, make a mania beatmap, and post it. That would be cool

if we want to really go back, all modern competitive rhythm games are kinda based on beatmania, technically you have parappa before it inventing 4k, but the one that really created rhythm game culture, so what genre of song we listen to, the existence of custom charts, competing for high scores, etc, it's all beatmania.-Izuki- wrote:

Well, yeah, it's definitely beatmania. But FNF and DDR have the similar UI

Gameplay-wise, I like mania more, but the FNF modding community sometimes does really cool things with mechanics and animation (sometimes, because the majority of stuff on gamebanana is pretty sloppy).
