Am I letting myself down

Hello, I have played osu! for a year now and I feel like I could do way better.
The problem I have is that I only press with one finger instead of two, but is this keeping me back?
I always have trouble with long rows of single hits because my one finger just cant keep up, I need to practice that part a lot of before I can finally do it, but whenever I do it with two fingers I just feel like im randomly mashing the buttons. Like I have no control when I press.

I also have no idea how to practice for this

Am I letting my perfomance down by just playing with one finger instead of two?

Play more, and you'll improve with the time.

Also, single tapping is usually the most used method to play osu!, but in harder maps, you'll need the 2 fingers to go through streams and fast songs. Play with whathever you are comfortable and practise everyday.
