it's difficult to say. perhaps. though i think it's circumstantial, it most likely would be for the best in general standards of human survival and wellbeing.
knowing that there's more victims as a result of a criminal not being permanently prevented from doing shit to others, is kinda shitty to think about.
for that, imprisonment seems just fine, but...
i'm a bit hung up on whether or not it'd be logical to kill them.
as far as personal feelings go, i don't really have enough hatred in me that i can muster up to really personally declare someone to be deserving of death.
i just can't.
and i don't really know why. apathy, maybe, but it may be a bit of that naive bit of myself. i just don't really believe in killing people under any means unless needed in the moment for self-defense. if harm and immobilization does no justice, then i suppose that's where things'll go.
