Ok so before I knew anything about Osu.. I played TTR, 2009-present day :D Unfortunately the communities dead.. even I don't use the acutal TTR game rather TT reloaded dragonforce/ other jail broken accessed games..

This pic must be 3 years old by now. My only achievements were a couple of ranked 1s in the world.. il try to find the picture somewhere.. >_>

i first played this game on an ipod touch, and for some reason the stupid app wouldn't register my hits (and the ipod touch was new too)

and i'm pretty sure that made me think i sucked at rhythm games for a while, hell i would've joined osu way before if this stupid app didn't ruin my self esteem for about a year

how demoralising :( my ipod stopped responding ( i played with three fingers, then switched to two thumbs) if you can remember. U had three uhh things you would tap, the third one stopped responding after about 4 years :( now it randomly does it during my games D:

Omg I used to play this so much. I was the best in my school by far (probably because of all the guitar hero I played at the time). I could probably go back to it now and find it too easy though :P

Using 'Osu' terms it maybe took a good year before I was solidly playing 'insane maps' well. by two years I could FC all the maps they had.. until they introduced two frikin insanely hard maps that I could never do. unfortunately it was so long ago I can't remember the 'maps' but Its really funny how, starting Osu reminds me so much of when I began TTR.. going into 'insane' ranked rooms from 'easy' and asking them how they did that, little did I know that after a good solid few years I would be up there too :D

yeah I played it a heap, I was better than all the people I knew... (though still not that good...)

but that was years ago, since then I lost my iphone and have been using a $50 brick.

Ye its tragic how technology fails us. I lost everything when I unfortunately left my ipod of 5 years in the rain :( I managed to get it working but one day I plugged in the charger and it white screened, I have not been able to fix it.. my jail broken stuff was removed (i removed everything via Itunes in the hope it would work)

I have since bought my sisters new IPOD however... for some reason her appstore account is disabled for security reasons and she can't remember any of the questions to get it back. so i cant download TTR :(!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I REALLY want to play it!

With TTR I just jumped right to the hardest difficulty. I remember when I first got an FC on "As I lay Dying" (I think it's called that) while I was at school and everyone watching just went crazy :P

Yeah I don't trust Iphones or touchscreens, if I did I'd probably be like on my fourth one by now. Wheras my brick mobile has been dropped four metres onto hard concrete and been fine.

I was like, idk but only thing i remember from this is an english song that was about making it and taking it. what

this was part of intro to rhythm games (aside from taiko no tatsujin)

Just.... they removed this from google play i think
did they remove it from app store too?

I still confused about how to tilt the device to the arrow in the game until now. :P

I used to play TTR 4 years ago also. Now I discovered that they have "danmaku" games like bug princess on the app store.

Can't remember, did tilts give you score or was it just a gimmic? One time there was a tilt and I literally threw my touch out the window :) it somehow still functions though.

They gave you score but it was really stupidly annoying on hard songs because sometimes they dont register and other times you dont have time to 'get back into it' and lose your combo. and if you really did throw it out the window.. lol thats hilarious i can just imagine it now *visualises in head*
