We seriously need to discuss this topic and not marginalize it.
Osu is a suitable for all ages game, so we need to put more Censorship on the beatmaps photos. Because it is not logical for a child to see pictures of girls in inappropriate clothes that are not appropriate for his age.
That was my request and I hope it is taken seriously.

It's understandable, but I don't doubt the fact that it will be taken care of soon.
It's true that certain content can be really inappropriate at times

Also, I think legally it's 13+ due to the inclusion of online features

im just asking if its allowed or not, if not i shalt make a report to peppy himself. ill get on mah email and whip up a little "dear dean peppy herbert, a user generated shitmap (shitpost beatmap) on your game, osu!, mentioneds themes of [insert stuff i cant say here] and i believe it doesnt follow the rules (or probably doesnt as osu! is all ages) so i shalt request you delete this map unless it abides the great rulebook of the osu! laws.

It's been a problem pretty much since the beginning of the game and aside from temporary actions it has never been deal with, don't know why people say it'll be fixed soon, unless somehow after after 18 years the time has come.

I very much agree with you. They'll probably come up with something... Or you can just slap BG dim 100% and your good for the time being.

Also visual criteria says "sexual posturing or solicitation". There's maps like this and this(?) Where do we draw the line?

its just people, this art seems normal to me, but I can see what you might imagine, but its just you (no offence), and corrupted (in some way) people.

if you really want to, you can find bad things even in a blank image.

Not only about the backgrounds, but I lost my innocence after playing this map 6 years ago: beatmapsets/295225#osu/666445

i love this game :3

That's song content, which is very lenient as long as it's marked Explicit. If you don't want to hear potentially sexual songs, don't download any Explicit beatmaps. Not that you can tell why a map is marked Explicit without listening to the song, but that's a separate issue.

I don't think so; otherwise, I would have reported this map for its SB (specifically, for sexual posturing).

Back then, there was no "Explicit" warning, you just got suprised, especially when someone put it in multiplayer and your osu direct downloaded it, couldn't read the description, you had osu on speakers and you weren't home alone. Ehehe good times when I had to explain myself~
