Hi there,
so I played some Osu recently after a about 1 month break and now i dont know how the PP calcutation works. I figuered out that the calculation is based on the spot of Top-Beatmap for each player. But this sounds very bad, becouse if you finish a Beatmap and it isn´t in there, does it mean you won´t get PP for that ?
And the I have a second question: I just finished a decent hard map and was satisfied of my score. But then i saw that i got becouse of that down on the ranking by 100 ! This is just demoralising. The problam is that i coudn´t do better with a Perfect and accuratuty of 98%. So why ? that´s not fun at all if you get punished by playing the Game.
And then there is a third question xD I wanted to play a little multyplayer but then i was affraid that if i don´t do well i lose PP and ranks. So i decided to not play multyplayer anymore. But i wondered if that´s realy true. Is it true that i lose these things at multyplayer ? And if yes why isn´t there a change, becouse i want to play multyplayer but dont want to lose PP or ranks. And a second account is forbidden. Or isn´t it ?

Well yeah... Kinda long text but i hope someone will awnser my questions =D

your english frightens me. so does your avatar

to answer your questions:

1. You get PP for every good score you make. So I have no clue what you're talking about.

2. There are 2 answers to this. One: Other people play this game. Press F9 and as you can see a lot of people play this game. I always thought it was single player as well untill last month I realised I wasn't talking to automated chat bots but actual people. Pretty odd lol. Two: If you had a modded score on it, say a Double Time score, where you missed just before the end, the system sees it as a good score. But if you were to pass that score with a no-mod FC, it'll then register only that score, causing you to lose PP.

3. You can only gain pp from getting scores. Bad scores won't drop your pp. Play all you want, how bad you want. In the end it comes down to your good ranks.

Everything about Performance Points -> http://osu.ppy.sh/wiki/DE:Performance_Points (it's even in German)

Yes multiplayer games can affect your rank, it has always been like that.
Yes multiaccounting is still forbidden.
