The mapping is fine. It would even be acceptable if it was a minute or so long, but 14 seconds is hardly a beatmap at all - and it really does not justify taking attention over other arguably more complete works.

Popping the bubble, and considering nuke.

I hope this doesn't turn into too much drama.* :(

The bottom line of why I don't think this should be ranked is that as a player, I would be disappointed playing this. It's 14 seconds long, and while I can hear that it is mapped to something more than just the metronome/BPM, the song and the overall experience feel incomplete and don't give me even the level of satisfaction that random animu OPs would.

And treating this as a separate argument: I don't think that maps considered "not good enough" for ranking should be considered for approval. If the final decision is that the map is only "too strange" then it's fine to be approved, but I think approval has its own set of standards, and isn't just where "anything that can't be ranked" can go.

*That means no overreacting, no "FINE EVERYONE ELSE IS PERSECUTING ME I GIVE UP AND HATE YOU ALL" on anyone's part.
