- Newcomers World Cup 2025 (NWC25) is a country-based, world cup style, double-elimination osu!standard tournament.
- This is a 3vs3, team size 6 with a minimum team size of 4.
- The rank range is #250,000 - infinity.
- The tournament will be played in TeamVS, ScoreV2 with NoFail enforced.
- All times mentioned will be in UTC+0.
- Rank range change to accommodate the PP updates.
- The addition of the Screening Council.
- Major changes in match procedure.
- Minor changes in removing team formation limitations.

- EZ mod will have a multiplier ranging 1.6-2.0x on top of the in-game multiplier.
- TB or Tiebreakers will be true freemod, that is teams may opt to not use any extra mod.
- NF must be put on.
- FL is NOT allowed. The multiplier is x0.0.
- Players must play for the country displayed on their profile flag.
- Violation of our behaviour standards will impact your standing in the tournament.
- Players and staff are expected to uphold the osu! community rules at all times.
- Admins reserve the right to punish as they see fit on a case-by-case basis: toxicity, obscene language, slurs, bad behaviour, etc., anywhere.
- Multi-accounting, cheating, and other foul plays are not allowed.
- Should a player be restricted for foul play while the tournament is ongoing, admins reserve the right to punish or disqualify teams entirely and replay the bracket history appropriately based on the stage of the tournament.
- Instructions from the referees and admins must be followed. Failure to do so may result in punishment up to disqualification from the tournament.
- Referees may be lenient or strict with the timers at their discretion.
- Admins reserve the right to alter the rules at any point. Any changes are guaranteed to be announced publicly in the NWC Discord server.
- Admins may request a liveplay or recordings of individual players when there is extremely suspicious behavior and/or performance.
- Any attempts in exploiting possible loopholes may cause a player or a team to be disqualified from the tournament. Ask the admins when there is a confusion.
