It would be nice if you could blacklist (hide) results from osu!direct listing, similar to how you can hide maps of which you have already installed. This could be a new db file called osu!direct_blacklist.db or something.
Currently, if you have hundreds of maps of which you have no interest in downloading, they'll forever remain in the list of maps - it's just clutter, making it more difficult to find maps in the list that you do want and also making difficult to determine which maps are newly listed. (This is more difficult in the Pending/Graveyard categories, considering those don't seem to be ordered by date)
Additionally, it would be nice if you could choose to hide maps of which are similar to the map you want hidden or other various methods (similarity through artist/genre/map author, additionally possibility to specify search arguments like.. hide all maps that are older than 2012 or something).
All maps of which you have previously chosen to hide would be displayed in a new category in the dropdown box (Ranked, Qualified ..., Blacklist)
From this new category, you can choose whether you want to remove maps from the blacklist.
