I think it would be neat to have the ability to display a short message/status/title/comment in game. Of no more than for example 30 characters for example.
This could be useful so people can share a little sentence/mood or anything really to the rest.
A lot of games have this functionality already, and I think it works well.
It could probably be shown whenever you hover over someones profile in game.
To put it in simple terms it would work kind of as the 'how are you feeling today-from facebook' . So everyone understand.
Example of messages : "Practicing Ar10" - "Ahhh! ar10 I hate you" - "Double time op" .
Just to let people express themselves a bit more in game somehow.
I am sure you can make people follow certain guidelines for their status to not be vulgar/offensive and what not. (ban some words, idk)
