I tend to stress my fingers and overload those to mange to play a map that I can't easily play. Will this way of practicing increase my physical ability or is tensing my fingers totally unnecessary?
No???Slowpoke1135 wrote:

tensing up makes me faster, on 4k and 6k and 7k. im just taking a blind guess that its because i play wrist uo im fast, assuming youre wrist down like most peopleStickman92 wrote:

Tensing up just makes me slow, not fast. Or it's something that happens when a pattern is too difficult for me to read and/or too fast to hit.
So do you think this is a decent practice method? Try playing high density maps that I'm not used to(which causes my fingers to be tensed)?eternalize wrote:
You tend to stress your finger because you are not used to high sr density
Just keep trying until you get used to it
you should be fine if you do that and play maps where you get high acc with no manip. SR doesnt matter really, SR sucks anyway, so play stuff where you dknt manip and get high acc along with tensing alot on hard uncomfortable stuffdoraemon0627 wrote:

Yea the way I practiced is by playing maps that exceed my limits.doraemon0627 wrote:

I'm confused, am I not understanding something? Tensing up just means all your muscles are fighting against eachother, like trying to walk through mud or water. I'm not understanding how tensing up is supposed to help with speed, unless vibro.Slowpoke1135 wrote:

Not at all. When you can read the notes, your fingers will move as you read. Don't worry practice makes perfectdoraemon0627 wrote:

personally, i've had my best improvement when I've been trying to push my physical limits of the game rice-wise.doraemon0627 wrote:
