I've tried many times to stream osu! via OBS, and every time I try I drop from ~100 fps (lowest settings) to an inconsistent ~25-~40 fps. I know this is because of the major CPU usage of OBS, and paying for XSplit is off the table, since I'm a broke 16 y.o. high school student no one wants to hire... >:( Anyways, I know there are bound to be others out there who stream via OBS/XSplit, but cannot stream PC games, since their PC sucks...like mine...

ANYWAYS I thought it would be cool if there could be some sort of implementation to stream via twitch.tv AND maybe even a stream tab on the site (eh, eh ;) ) Along with this, chat would be accessible either via 2 seperate chats (Twitch and osu! stream (idk, best name I could come up with in about 0.5 seconds)), each with either their own Bancho multiplayer chat's, or combining them into one Bancho chat. Or even using on of those fancy chat's that a lot of other sites use...whatever those imbeddable chats are called...and then sending it to the in-game chat. That way you don't have to have a seperate window open for chat...because bad computers.

Now, on the topic of bad computers, I was thinking that it would have to pull directly from the Replays, or from the current playing...you know what, I don't know what I'm talking about, but it would have to pull the video from somewhere that doesn't require screen-capping (for CPU usage sake). As well it could implement a current song thingy in one of the corners, and leaderboard's for personal best's, and another for current mods, and even a "link"(just the URL, obviously not clickable) to where you can DL the map.

Here's an image to what it could possibly look like:

SOOO YA! Just a thought I had, would be neat if this could be implemented in the game sometime in the future!

let me guess first, you want to do the livestreaming in the game, not on the twitch or something like that?

Integration doesn't really help with performance. It will still have the same CPU overhead as OBS. Maybe your OBS settings are wrong.

The only advantage of integration is ease of setup. I do have plans to do this, but it shouldn't be stopping you from streaming now if you actually want to do so.
