I think we can agree that the current 'sort by difficulty' tab is fairly redundant as the current discrete values of ascending 0.5 stars is misguiding. If the Star Difficulty was used instead then it would introduce a new sorting from the hardest (tag4) to the easiest songs. This would help people who are looking to improve play only songs that are in a certain difficulty range, say 2.85 to 3.10.

Sorry if this has been mentioned before.

the new star system isnt even fully implements in game yet [?] but i find this entirely unnecessary, just type in a difficulty name at the listings, like Insane or whatever and it will more or less filter for you. You can even go a step further and go like OD=9, AR=8, BPM <>= # etc.

You're referring to the same star rating system only different values are being used to determine difficulty.
