I was thinking that if say you liked a song a good deal or you wanted to remind yourself to do something when you log on(say mod or map a map), then you could just tell osu! to play that song on startup. Maybe you could toggle this on the main screen in the player and then be able to have another button to actually say you want that map to play on startup?
